Here's mine, stripped and reblued the frame while keeping the slide in white. Cost me nothing other than 1/2 day's work.

I really like the slide buffed and in the white.   Nice choice.   Thanks for posting the photo.

Wow...that slide looks GREAT! I tried like hell to get mine polished up that nice, but failed. That's why I just Cerakoted mine. Good work, what did you use to get yours so shiny?

Thank you for the kind words.

I used a wire wheel to strip off the original finish and then I used a buffing wheel with compound to get the slide to shine. In all honesty, it looks much better in real life than it does in the photo, I would highly recommend you doing it but take it slow!

It looks very nice.  However, you better keep it heavily oiled or you will have corrosion problems.  No firearms are sold this way.  Everything must be coated or plated or blued.

Looks great Adrian, cute duck. ;D

Which grip sleeve is that?  Looks like it fits well; how's it feel?

Thats my rubber ducky I got in a old Axe body wash kit  O0

The grip is a Pachmayr tactical grip for the cz 75/85 on eBay $12 bucks shipped. It fits well, but I had to fiddle with it (no cutting, just adjusting)  in order to feel just right. It does fit like a glove, which makes it hard to move around. My middle finger felt too crammed in between the trigger guard and the top finger grip...but it feels amazing now.

Looks nice.  I like your grips.  Surely there are more poeple refinishing your 82s, so keep posting them on here.

Looks great. I'll probably get a set of grips from there also.

I had originally stripped mine with Jasco and a wire wheel then cold-blued it a year or so ago. It looked better, but the Marschal grips looked like lipstick on a pig. So, I went with a 2-tone Cerakote finish and some Beretta mag bases. It's now the prettiest gun I own.

I'm considering these Marschal's for my 82. Do they make the grip thicker than stock grips or does it feel about the same? I would hate to lose the feel the pistol has now.
