  • HALT, Who goes there?
Very cool
Just what I?ve been looking for
The Rear Sight looks somewhat like the Rear Sights on the Kadet or on my MkII Target
If they fit the stock B-SA dovetail, I?m there
Hey Nasty, thanks for the post

It is an lpa sight which czub says will have to have machining done to the slide...and yes it is the tpu sight

That isn't the TPU that fits without machining.  I posted the model that will fit in the thread in the CZ75B forum.  It fits, works great.  You may have to get it from PSI, not CZ.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the feedback. Im a relatively new shooter and currently I am only shooting Centrefire matches. Down the track, I wou;d love to get into other disciplines such as IPSC.

I am looking for an adjustable sight is beacuse im trying many different loads and currently I am sick of my gun shooting high and to the left.  I know that the gun probably shoots better than me but it would be nice to adjust as needed.  I actually found a really nice set up adjustable fibre sights (front and back) from Fusion firearms but I am worried if I will face the same issue.

Has anyone used these fibre sights before? Good pricing as well.

That is the LPA tall version.  Your gun won't fit a holster with that front sight.  They are also so tall that it changes the way the gun points.  I had a set on a SIG P226 for about a week, then changed them to the overhanging rear TPU model lower ones that will work with the stock height front.

I went to the link, and it lists the TPU he has as a "new" option to fit the CZ75B/85 dovetail.

I like the mount, but my only concern is the small rear sight-blade.  It should work fine for stationary target shooting, but would be slow to acquire with IPSC/USPSA.

I see that the TPU does hang over the rear of the Slide, but how much
It looks like it doesn?t leave much of the Hammer exposed
Thoughts ? ? ?

Den--It is tough to cock the hammer using your thumb on top of the hammer.  Not impossible, just that the sight does hinder access.  Small price to pay, at least to me, for an adjustable sight.

Den, my Competition rear blade hangs over and doesn't clear the hammer by a whole lot;  but it's wider and taller, and makes target acquisition faster than a small blade.  I sure wish it was adjustable.  It doesn't take much adjustment to make a change at 25 yds.  I've used a filed FO front sight in the past.  My current front sight works (1" +or-  low at 25 yds) with 124/125 gr fmj or plated bullets at minor PF/1030-1040 FPS.  Shooting a heavier or lighter bullet means a new front sight normally.  :(    Very easy to replace though.

I don't often cock the hammer by hand, but it does cock fairly easy with the comp rear.

I've had the Fusion FO in the link on order for about 3 weeks now. I'm more worried about the height than the fit. It doesn't look like there will be any overhang. I'll let you know what it looks like as soon as it arrives. Right now a #4 OE rear and a 5.5 front FO get me pretty close to POA/POI.

I've been working on different loads to find the right combo to match my shooting and my new trigger job and an acceptable amount of recoil and target acqusition speed. Life was a lot easier before I needed glasses.

here are the pics I promised-I shot it today for the first time and I'm well pleased with the results. I know the gun does it's job and I'm working on my end of the deal.

Great pics Sunkist.....so just to confirm, you didnt have to get any milling or machining to fit those Fusion sights on?...Do you have full up and down windage adjustment?

OK, now to choose
The TPU and suffer the overhang?..
Or the Fusion and suffer the height ? ? ?
Decisions, decisions ? ! ? ! ?

Not to rock the boat, but doesn't the PSI (LPA) SPR sight kit also fit the CZ75 without any mods to the slide?

Hehe...i face the same dilemma DenStinett.....I love the look of the optic fibre sights from fusion...but I am worried about the height and whether it will require milling for the full up and down adjustment. Plus I am located in Australia, hence I dont know if they ship down here.

Dave thats what I thought...but the SPR sight (which i what I think I have) doesnt fit without milling)....LPA does not mention this on their site at all.

.....I dont know if they ship down here.
Nasty:
If you find that none of these companies will work with shipping ?Down Under?
I have worked as a ?middleman? for a few shooters living outside the States
It really sucks to find just the right parts and then find out they won?t ship to you
Let me know if I can be of assistance
