Great video. I was surprised when Hickock45 mentioned using standard 75 mags in the P-07. Everybody, including CZ-USA, says standard 75 mags won't work in the P-07 but they clearly functioned well in this case.  ???

That was the first thing I noticed as well.  Hickock usually does good reviews.  He has a few different CZ videos.

I shot someone's P-07 (non-threaded) at the range last weekend, and he's right, the trigger feels great DA or SA. The thing is also light as a feather which is shocking next to all steel CZ 75 SP01's. Felt like a toy but shot extremely well.

Great video BTW, hickock is awesome.

Same here, I tried my 75b mags in the shop and they fit right in and locked back the slide release.  SP01 mags did the same.  Range test coming soon.  Details to follow

Every one claims that the P-07 mag is proprietary to the gun but I have found that the standard 75 mag functions flawlessly . They stick out a bit as they are longer but the kicker here is my 14 round PCR mags also function flawlessly and do not stick out much further than the regular P-07 mag. Now all that said the standard 75 mags AND the PCR mags also function 100% and lock back the slide on the final round without fail, something that the P-07 mags do not do. I think CZ may want to revisit the P-07 mag design and consider some improvements.

Curious, would the P07 mags work in a cz75B/SP01 too?
Life is too short to waste on a bad trigger pull

His magazine comment was the big news for me.  I had stopped buying an 07 after reading mags were incompatible.  But, I'm still probably going to buy an SP-01 or 75B instead.  Unless the 09 comes out real soon and mags will interchange.

The P-09 is estimated to arrive near the end of 2012 or beginning of 2013.

I need to clarify something I left out in my earlier post here. While I find the standard Cz 75 and PCR mags work perfectly in My P-07 I also find that the P-07 mags WILL NOT fit in the other 2 guns as they are wider and will not insert into the frame. Go figure.

I think that I've seen posts that say the problem with regular CZ mags is when the are slammed in, they'll hit the single trigger bar and cause problems.

I really want a P-07 now that CZ seems to have gotten any teething problems with it fixed.  Suppressed or not, that looks like a bleep fine shooter, and I think the P-07 would compliment my PCR, and 75B well.  I'd like to try the Omega trigger system as well as I did dry fire a P-07 at at local gunshop, and the trigger pull was really nice.
