My practice has been (and still is) to sight in two inches high at 100 yards, that way I will be dead on at 200 yards and two inches low at 300, or so the theory goes. Most everything I have killed has been within 150 yards, so I've not tested my Trajectory beyond that. On Deer Size or larger Game, it works. Different Bullet weights will rise more or less offering a different Trajectory profile. You need to tailor your practice to your particular loading. I generally use CCI Speer 165 grain Bullets over W748 powder.
