Man these 7.5" VZs give me a chub :o

Hopefully they end up selling these as pistols.  I think it would be a lot better to simply get these as a pistol, put in the unconstitutional paperwork, and slap the stock on yourself.  At least you have the actual pistol to play around with until the ATF processes your poll tax.

Hehehe, looks like a 5" sight radius? Would require a sight built into the receiver cover... I want one!

I would not worry about sight radius, where im from not allowed to own sbrs >:( only pistol versions
just an idea on how my short sight radius pistols shoot at 25y, but you lucky ones who can own an sbr
at least get to have a stock put on, which helps more in accuracy than my sad sling does.  by the way
50y groups are almost identical to my 25y groups

Looks like your sling method is not so sad after all.
This is how I plan on shooting my new Zastava PAP M92PV.
With an echo93 sling mount.

So what are the wait times on form 4's now?

I wonder if Czechpoint will sell them as SBRs or just pistols for us to form 1 (build)

I hate the paperwork (and the wait  ::) ) but I must say that looks like fireballs of fun. Well it would be if more than 5 rounds were allowed at a time, full auto would be awesome.

The 12" guns work just fine at longer distances. I've shot mine onto steel about the size of IDPA targets out to 300m with not much bother.

Does anyone have pictures or video of the 12'' model?
Just it just simply look like the full sized rifle only with a shorter barrel?
BTW, I think I just answered my own question.   ;)

They will come drilled and tapped for the czechpoint/csa short optic rail.

All,
I've been in contact with the exclusive distributor for the SBR (Yes, it will be an SBR, not a pistol)  The distro is expecting them early fall, oh, and by them that includes the 12" barrel as well.  Also I've been told magazine availability will no longer be an issue ;)  I have already got dibs on one of the first 5 available; the distro happens to be in my state, on two of the forums I'm active on, and I've met him personally a few times; couple that with the fact that I know Tim from MAC (the guy who runs thebangswitch.com) and life is good!  Oh, also the new RS products Rail mount will be available from the distro at the same time!  I'm not sure how it happened, but I seem to be in the middle of the players for all things vz.58 in the US!!!!  Sometimes I like being me! ;D

I'm guessing these require a tax stamp?  Definitely something that would be different enough from my AK to justify a new toy gun....
Better submit your tax stamp ASAP. Current ATF backlog is 6.5 months and growing.
Czechpoint won't even sell you a rifle unless you provide proof of tax stamp? I presume this is correct?

Umm, you can't apply for the stamp unless you have the serial of the rifle... the way it will work is that Czechpoint will "sell" all the rifles to the distro who is a 03 FFL, then you will "purchase" your rifle, paperwork goes out to the ATFE, after approval the distro will release the rifle to you... pretty much the same process as a suppressor IIRC.

Sounds good but an 03FFL is a C&R license so I would guess it is not that.

Duhhh, you are correct... I hate trying to remember the FFL numbers... OK, someone correct me with the right license... I know it's Class 3, but the FFL license number is apparently not the same... what can I say, I'm going to be doing my first NFA tango this fall!
