Terry,

That is a beautiful pistol, Terrymc.  A 97b has been bouncing around my brain for a bit and your pics just sealed the deal.  But it wont be like yours for a while!

^^Maybe one day............... if you suddenly fall into an alternate DAO universe. Anything is possible.
Hahahahahaha! Yeah, I figure maybe some of y'all will get a kick out of that...

You must have been working extremely long hours again to have those dreams.

I pick up my next CZ on Thursday, if i can get out to my FFL. I am going to hold off on the model ID until i pick it up. Lets just say i do not think this one will need as much DIY customizing as my others. It is clear at this point that i just do what the CZ's tell me......

More on this soon.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Either a Accu-Shadow, 97B or a Grand Power. I find the Grand Power's extremely interesting with the rotating barrel and what not.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. :)

The finish actually was a little rough (it looked tarnished and kind of flat) since it was used (and originally from North Carolina so a bit more humidity than here), but I spent quite a while with a microfiber and Renaissance Wax to clean it up.

I removed it from its plastic bag and started to dry buff it with the microfiber and found I was pulling a tiny bit of finish rust (yes I know the bluing is an oxidized finish).
So I started waxing it and just polished as I waxed. I used the wax and not any polish so that I would minimize removing any Bluing.
Tough to do when you are trying to remove another form of oxidation.
At first there was some brown then gradually each coat got less and less brown on the cloth until I got to the finish you see here.

Well, I'll be different.  I'm looking for a birds head grip Webley (Mk I-Mk V) in the original .455 chambering.  Not having much luck, but I'm still looking.
