Ya I'm still a ways out from shooting it but it feels much better with the PCR/compact grip vs the rami frame, tho the rami's not bad with the 14rd mag.

Here's a couple more pics

Here's where i'm at right now, the sear cage needs fitted to the slide, it is to wide at this point for the rami slide and needs a little work. After that the sear cage will be put back in and i'll start working on getting the rami recoil spring in the gun. It goes in right now but with the slide all the way forward it sticks out 1/4in because it doesn't fit in the groove.

Thank you for the added pics. Its nice how cleanly the RAMI slide matches up with the PCR frame at the muzzle. Like it was meant to be.

I am curious to see how the the PCR slide stop/frame hole and RAMI barrel play together. The PCR has the lugs while the RAMI has a lock up like the CZ97.

An added bonus for this creations is no wacky PCR rear site cut. Nice.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Well got the sear cage fitted today and back in. Dococker, hammer, and everything else seems to function fine at this point. Here's a picture of the cage after being fitted.

A little different, the slide has to come back farther to get the slide lined up so it will except the slide stop. With the recoil spring out of the gun the slide locks back just fine but at this point I'm losing about 3/8in of rearward travel untill I get the framed drilled for the rami recoil setup.

Now the Rami 4.0 (Rami lower and PCR upper) seems to take no fitting and everything is good to go right out of the box so to speak with one exception. The slide would/will need cut to get the slide lock to caught on the last round or work at all for that matter.

That looks really nice with the Rami top.

I'd avoid XCR, since... There is already an XCR out there made by Robinson Armament.  (The rifle) And it's trademarked.

What about RCR?

Thanks for the heads up, I looked into the whole trademarking thing and it shouldn't a probably for a couple different reasons. One it's the cz 75 XCR which in the world of trademarking it's a totally different thing from what I under stand, and it's used as a descriptive term (Extra capacity Rami) which also seems to make a difference.

Yes and Not yet  ;) I modified the two 14rd mags to hold 15rds by trimming the follower, will post some pictures of it later, I was also hoping to get the frame drill this weekend that's the last thing holding me back from test firing the gun. Did test both the mags in the PCR configuration and they ran 100% no problems stripping the first round and the LRHO worked every time, only down side is it takes a little force getting round 15 in but setting the mag with 15 rounds doesn't take as more force as I figured it would, a nice firm tap and it's good to go.

No Problem that's why I'm doing this whole thread, is for the people that want to get out and try these things on there own this may be a helpful guide.

Alright for those wondering how to increase the capacity of any standard cz mag by +1 internally here's how to do it.

You simply trim the follower to allow one more round to fit, the key is to not take to much that the follow comes above the mag lips and to keep the angle of the follower exactly the same, I have a wide belt sander so it only takes a couple secs to cut the follower down. it actually takes more time to stop and check things then it does to do the mod itself.

This is where the gun is currently at

as you can see the recoil spring sticks out of the gun a ways because I haven't opened up the guide rod hole in the frame yet, here is a better look at the protrusion of the rod.

I need to do some looking this weekend and see if I have the flat end mill bit I need or if I need to order one, after that it's time for this thing to get to the range.

That's great TC. Will the slide still lock open on empty mag with this mod?

Yes if done right it should work 100% of the time.

Well just happened to have the end mill bit I needed and got the frame drilled, here is a pic of the rami guide rod in place after it being drilled.

Soon as I got it drilled and blowed out I went outside and put some ammo through it, runs like a champ  ;D I'll have to see if I can steal the wifes camera and take some video of this thing. shoots like a dream that pcr frame really helps.

I like that flush look.

That turned out really - really nice.

Extremely nice custom work.  It's so clean it appears factory.

Will you drop it on a scale when you are done?

TC, if you get a chance, could you possibly take a couple side by side photos of a stock follower and the modified follower please?? For some reason my brain is having a hard time picturing the difference[emoji17] Thanks in advance.

Absolutely i'm just as curious to see what it weights.

There's a side by side pic up the page a little, is there a certain area you would like a picture of? All your doing is reducing the amount of skirt there is on the follower.
