CNC Swiss Screw can hold a tight tolerance for larger production runs (second batch).  CNC lathe is good for short runs (first batch).

Same 4140 steel and heat treat used on both batches.

Neat to know! I shudder to think of what my groupings would be like without this bushing!

Thing 3: When I was shooting unsupported practicing seeing my sights and what not I had a couple bullets just about go through the same holes. Since this wasn't a practice in grouping the groups weren't worth measuring as I would open them up with shooting quick. Sorry for the lack of group measurements but as someone else mentioned, I noticed a very real increase in accuracy and it boosts my confidence in the gun a great deal. Thanks CGW!

Yea! I've done that a couple times, and I'm a new shooter! Seriously an amazing upgrade.

We did move the bearing support band a few thousands to improve barrel insertion.  Installed a few bushings today and the barrels dropped right in.

Lock up is still the same.

Spoke with David today, going ahead with doing a small batch for the stainless guns in a hard chrome finish to complement the guns.

Watch his site for these. I will be the guinea pig! O0

Only costs a little more to go first class! O0

I definitely want one in a hard chrome finish so please PM me when this special batch is made.  Thanks and can't wait.

More problems with the 75B in .40. It was my carry gun all this past winter and had been flawless until the 10x bushing was installed. Now I can't get through a magazine without at least one but usually multiple failures. It's really a shame as it was one of my favorites. I guess it is karma kicking me for trying to fix what wasn't broken.  I am still one of CGW's biggest fans and have, and will continue to, strongly recommend his products and services.  Stuff happens and this time it happened to me.

That's unfortunate. Maybe you just have a dud! Have you asked CGW for a replacement?

That is too bad Birds. Schmecky has posted that if something doesn't go right to contact CGW and they will do whatever it takes to take care of you. If you haven't already, give them a call and you will surely have a flawless pistol when all is said and done.

It's really a shame as it was one of my favorites. I guess it is karma kicking me for trying to fix what wasn't broken. Stuff happens and this time it happened to me.

Every time I make an upgrade/change, be it computer, car, household project or firearm, I tell myself, "a man built it, and a man can fix it/improve it."

Sometimes it takes longer to get there. Nothing in this life is easy, and nothing worth working for should be.

David is there to help, if he wasn't,  I wouldn't have bought one. There are potholes in the road to greatness,  you just hit one.

When everything is working again,  it will continue to be a favorite.

Thank you for sharing your experience and keep your chin up, Birds. You got this.

If it's not broken, it doesn't have enough features yet!

Birds Away,

Since we are not having any issues with feeding or reliability,  I would assume you may have a faulty bushing.  If you want the 7510X in your CZ .40, please send it to us, we would really like to see what's up.

Your issue could possibly help others down the road.  Let me know.

It wasn't my intention to criticize CGW in any way.  In my opinion they offer the finest parts and service for CZs.  As I said I currently have ten Cajunized CZs, I've had many more over the last few years, and will undoubtedly add to that.  David also offers the best customer service you will find anywhere.  I consider myself CGW's biggest fan and I don't see that changing.

I didn't read any criticism in your comment. You really should let David take care of whatever the issue is.
