3" left at 25mtrs in my CTS. And probable 1.5" high. I have adjustable sights, so no biggie. Groups are tight in general. Will post comparison when I am back to shooting at my best levels (am a bit below par since last 3 weeks).

Sounds like you have been a little under the weather. Sorry to hear that and I hope you get back to 100% as soon as possible.
Thank you for the concern. I just had an elongated flu a month ago, and focused more on rifle shooting in the last few weeks.
I did shoot a few sub 3" (5 shot) groups single hand unsupported at 25meters, but they were off center (left and high), but I m not in top form. I will surely want to post the targets that represent the change these bushing have to offer at my skill level at 25mtrs. Hence, waiting to get back to best rhythm. Thank you again.

Just installed my bushing.  Very easy to install (as in difficulty level) and was a very snug fit.

Installed in a Shadow Target 2.

Had to move my sight anyhow since it came loose during a steel shoot.  Found the set screw backed off.  So, took care of that and the bushing at the same time.

Items noticed:
- NO noticeable POI change. (the rear sight was put back to almost where it was before and no major changes required)
- On my best reloads no noticeable improvement in groups.
- On the ammo my gun doesn't like, a definite improvement.  Reduced groups from 1.5 x 2.5" to a  1x2 on several loads.
- Barrel is tight to get in and out (really don't care but I figured I would mention it).

All tested (as I've always done) resting barrel on a sawhorse at 35'.  No, it isn't the best but good enough for me.

Thanks for a great product.

It just made my Awesome pistol into a more Awesome pistol!

Dan, sounds like yours was pretty good before the swap.  Interesting that the ammo that it didn't like tightened up some.  That is a good result.
On the barrel tightness in the slide, that is a result of the bushing design--reduce the clearance until the barrel will just barely come out.  Mine is perfect with the new bushing.  JUST can get it out.  The barrel would fall out with my factory bushing.

I'm glad to hear of good results even from a good gun.  Mine was the other end of the spectrum, from bad factory fit bushing to bullseye match gun with the bushing.

I'm still confused to hear about all the hard to get the barrel out with the new barrel bushing. Mine is fairly easy to get out.

A thousandth of an inch of stacking around the lugs can make all the difference.  On mine, I have to rotate the barrel to the side as far as it will go, THEN it will come out easily, but without that, not at all.  No problems at all in function, though, so I don't care.

I'm a total newb when it comes to these barrel bushings, but I have read many posts about them.
Can i do this to my SP-01 in California? Or is it illegal here, and can these be self-done or need gunsmithing?

No issues in CA as far as i know. When you acquire a firearm it must match the specs stated on the California Safe Handgun Roster. Once you own the firearm you can do what you want with it as long as it you do not change its classification. Like no going full auto.

Many people have installed their own bushings. Like most CZ gunsmithing, it may not be for everyone but it is very doable. I suggest reviewing the available information from others that have installed the bushing to help decide if you want to do the work your self. I believe some of it is in this thread.

I can tell you that I changed my barrel bushing about 3 days after I got my CZ without  any problems.

Is it expensive to DIY? I've seen some quotes of about 150-200$ to send it in to do one. Could you link me something some info that you used to install it?

It's not expensive if you already have a vise. They're not terribly expensive anyways.

Didn't even need a vise in my case. Just made a slide hammer, the new bushing slid in with no efford.

25mtr (27.5 yards) single hand, unsupported, using factory ammo. My vertical spread has reduced down to 2" almost consistently if I do my part right. I will post more targets as I shoot this a bit more. Have been shooting rifle almost exclusively for last 3 months.

CZ75 TSX (CTS) with TS slide, SP01 frame, SAO, and CGW Barrel Bushing.

5 Shots. X ring in 1", 10 ring is 2" diameter. This is a 1.75" CTC group. Well, I was shooting quite good with this pistol earlier, but almost never as good as this. The improvement is there for the taking, and the best of shooters would notice accuracy comparable to Sig P210 and X5/X6. Yes, I have access to these pistols, a friend has all three. Previously, it was always a notch below.

I highly recommend this mod. If not for one shot that I pulled left, this would have been just abt 1.2", free hand, single hand ! Not bad at all.

Very impressive. Great performance. I am doing this next. Tried installing the bushing today in my garage. Removal of the factory bushing was easy. I placed the frozen 10x bushing into the barrel and it did not go in correctly on the first try. Then I removed it and it fell out of the barrel into the darkest, dirtiest corner in my garage (of course). I spent an hour looking for it with no luck. Just placed an order with CGW for the next one and will take it to my gunsmith.
