Look closely at this one. A Pre-B made in Czechoslovakia with a round trigger guard and a changeable front sight.

Cool find....... I like getting unique finds like that.....finally came across a steel frame 75D compact I'm going to totally redo....all new internals and either rust blue or regular bluing.....possibly a combo of the two 🤔

I think around very early 90s that anti-glare, ribbed slide tops appeared and brought along that type of pinned ramp sight. Have seen quite a few of those transitionals on the CDIsales website in the past year

It has not arrived here yet but i just noticed that i don't see a hole in the manual safety so it may be that it has the modern set up with the spring and detent inside the frame. This is really a Frankenstein gun right out of the factory. I think a rust blue job, beaver tail mod, sights, hammer, guide rod and a set of Shadow style Bogies is in order.

This is only the 3rd one i have seen this year with the old style frame with the round trigger guard, i bought one of them and someone else got the other one at $565.00. No one noticed this one on GB or even bothered to bid on it.

Those are cool finds and they deserve a blued or other finish that a steel frame can provide.

I use a current slide stop when shooting the pre-Bs to save on the original.

Exactly what i do. They look out of place but they take the beating instead of the originals.
