Looking forward to photos and range reports when you get those back! Assume that each was done slightly differently for its intended purpose?

Apologize if this was already adddressed, but I've read all 40+ pages of this thread over the last two weeks and don't recall seeing an answer ...

There two different prices for this pistol at mrgundealer.com.  Is there a difference between this one at $515:
http://www.mrgundealer.com/product.cz-usa-99021-cz-75-compact-9mm-rail-steel-frame-manual-safety-806703990217-1047

and this one listed at $527?
http://www.mrgundealer.com/product.cz-usa-75-compact-9mm-rail-steel-frame-manual-safe-39

They have different product IDs, but the same UPC# (806703990217)

Strongly considering buying one of these as a back-up for my SP01 Shadow/semi-dedicated Kadet gun/occasional carry.

Lastly, are we still sure this is a limited run?  Several reports of people finding them at LGS, and now I see them listed on czcustom.com as "factory pistols" with no mention of them being limited.

When Stuart mentioned that they got 100 of these there were supposedly 500 more that were left from the big batch that was not taken by the original client that requested them. So, that meant CZ USA brought in the first batch of 500 and Bill Hicks took them. This second batch meant a total of 1,000, but CZ Custom only took 100, thereby putting us at 600 total in country.
Now, that link at Mr Gun Dealer for $515 is new, I hadn't seen that before. They say they bought them in bulk and are passing on some savings. I would give them a call or call CZ USA and see if the 400 that CZ Custom did not import were still brought in to the country and other shops and distributors picked them up. I'll try and call Monday to verify. That's a pretty stupid good price for an all steel CZ. If we saw the P-01 Omegas show up for that good of a deal I'm sure they would go like hot cakes. Anyways, I have my suspicions CZ USA brought in all of the second batch and we have 1,000 stateside now. But, unless CZ UB decided to resume production of this design these are still limited run, as they were produced for a client who didn't take delivery. It just looks like we are getting all of those pistols stateside.
Baldrage, Mr Gun Dealer responds to email pretty quickly on weekdays. You can shoot them an email and they should verify, but that first link just looks like they have those in house rather than drop shipping from Bill Hicks. If you do order through them remember that they won't ship until your FFL sends a copy of their license to them. Get that over to Mr Gun Dealer ASAP and your pistol should ship pretty quick (especially since they have them in house now).

On Gunbroker, Sportsmans Supply has been selling quite a few of these steel framed models.

I was wondering the same... two weeks ago they (Mr. Gun Dealer) only had the 2nd listing ($527), but it was actually lower at $511 for a couple of weeks... they just raised it to $527...

My first guess is that someone screwed up and added the same item to the site (same UPC), but when they add it, a new product ID/number was assigned to the item.

Both listing descriptions are identical... steel frame... 14-rounds...

Its a steel framed P01, it isn't a "compact SP-01". So yes...

I just put an order in with CZ custom. SP-01 Compact, plus trit sights, extended lhs safety, comp hammer. Should make for a great carry gun.
Scarlett Pistol, this is your fault.
Nice!  How much were there additions if you don't mind?

Too much, lol. $450 + $40 shipping.
The guys cajunizing on their own probably got off much cheaper, but this is my first metal CZ and it seems a bit more complicated than my old Glock or 10/22. Since I'm actually going to carry it, I forked up the cash to have it done right.

A wise decision! I won't mess with any of my defense firearms. I don't trust myself...

Side note, I recorded and have been editing and uploading tutorial videos for manual safety CZ's. The Playlist is private right now since it is not done yet. You guys can check it out here...
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXTbIrAR76i20MrrKs45HbEgP3dwnE0MK

I have a thread in the gunsmithing section asking for feedback. Jump over there if I missed something or for any other feedback (e.g. I had them in the pets category this weekend...).
http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=85431.0

Hope these help people out, so they avoid the learning curve I went through. It just so happens that the pistols in the videos are these SP-01 Compacts.
