Scarlett,
Awesome videos. Thank you very much for putting the time and effort in to make those. I am a tinkerer, so I'm sure I'll be using them soon for my SP-01 Compact.

I agree. A very valuable resource that I'll eventually take advantage of. Working on guns is something I've never done, but I'm very handy at everything else. I'd love to give my CZ's some personal attention.

By the end of the week everything should be in the Playlist. Hope it helps and I wish I had a better camera.

Side note, I recorded and have been editing and uploading tutorial videos for manual safety CZ's. The Playlist is private right now since it is not done yet. You guys can check it out here...

I have a thread in the gunsmithing section asking for feedback. Jump over there if I missed something or for any other feedback (e.g. I had them in the pets category this weekend...).

Hope these help people out, so they avoid the learning curve I went through. It just so happens that the pistols in the videos are these SP-01 Compacts.

Thanks for doing those videos SR!  I like how you do them in small segments instead of one 30 minute video.  Nicely done.

Cant wait to get my 2 sp01 compacts back from cgw. 1 carry 1 range only. Both with all the cajun magic!
Looking forward to photos and range reports when you get those back! Assume that each was done slightly differently for its intended purpose?

Yes sir! One range only and comp gun. One badass carry gun

Whew, I'm excited to see em and hear how the do. I love carrying mine! It rotates with my CZ 75 classic Compact SAO.

I like this pistol, but it's way too heavy (and wide) for me to be comfortable carrying it.  One thing's for sure, if you carry it you won't forget it's there.  Sure feels great in the hands though.

Well my buddy and I got the little tank cajunized and converted over to SAO. I have to say I'm very pleased, we both think it shoots fantastic. It is a very soft shooting compact built like a tank. Here it is with a couple of it's SAO buddies....

Well this thread certainly turned me on to the 99021. One should be home by next Monday.  What made me so interested the SP01 is this Forum.  The friendly advice from the members, the support from CZCustom and CGW is fantastic and thank you Scarlett for your significant contribution.  Now I need to decide if I should get the Ultra Lite Kit, and or the SRS kit and numerous spare pins and springs.  My second phase will be the hammer and adjustable sear.  I hope my gun's serial number ends in 999.  I already have a gun that end in 666.

Congratulations and welcome! This thread is long and I don't know if people read the whole thing anymore... But there's a test I did on each upgrade/part/polishing and I used one of these. Then I'm working on a Playlist with videos for assembly and disassembly and what not. The link isn't far back and they aren't public on YouTube yet. Let us know if you need any help.

This is a response from CZUSA/Derrick Miller .......Approximately 1,430 pieces of this pistol were brought here to the US. This run was brought over simply to help meet demand in the US, as here in the US, our compacts are our most sought after firearms. We are at maximum production capacity for metallic framed guns in the US, so any time an extra run can be squeezed in we take it!

My question to them...

Good afternoon, I recently purchased your steel frame Compact version that has the extended beaver tail and rail. The forum crowd has dubbed it the SP-01 Compact. Can you share any of the history of this weapon? Who for and why produced.
600 delivered to the US, is that correct?
Serial #//////
Thank you for any insight on this pistol!
Patrick

Well this went from rare to much less rare... Good news though for all those out there who may eventually want one!
