Curse this 52 page thread.  I was trying to hold out for a P10C but saw one of these compacts show up locally and folded to pressure.  No will power and I blame everyone of you.  Now I just have to get one of those rear sights like the P-01 Omega has and some lok grips and a 16 pound hammer spring.  You people are killing my wallet.  😁. David

tell me about it. I had just bought a glock 17 and was just perusing the CZ models to see what I would want sometime in the future for my first CZ and the POW!! this thing comes out of nowhere and I'm out $1100 as I pick up 2 of these... uggggggggg

I saw two of these at the gun show a couple days ago.  I briefly, very briefly, considered buying both.  One for me and one as a gift to my youngest son.  Neither of us need one of them and I know for a fact I'd have mine at the range banging away with it (lessening any future collector value due to rarity/condition).

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I tried scanning thru this long thread again but didn't seem to find it... Didn't someone write up a separate thread that talked about all the upgrades and accessories for this gun?

CZ Custom http://czcustom.com/ and Cajun Gun Works https://cajungunworks.com/ have all kinds of upgrade parts and services available. It all comes down to what you want to use your gun for and what you want to change about your stock gun.

I converted my P-01 Compact over to single action only so that it is like my other two CZ guns. Here's a list of the parts I bought from CGW to do it:

5SAO      Single Action Only Aluminum Trigger (your preference)
TR-PIN    Floating Trigger Pin
20C        Hammer Spring Strut Compact (so you don't have to drive out the pins for the disco and old hammer)
RHK        Race Hammer Kit (your preference)
HPIN       Hammer Pin
SRS-1     Short Reset System

It is recommended that you also get a starter punch or spring-loaded center punch. Hammer pins and trigger pin can be hard to move.

There's all kinds of sight options too- night sights and fiberoptics. It depends on what you want to use the gun for and your personal preferences.

It might be best if you shot the gun some while figuring out what you want to use the gun for and what you'd like to change about it. There's lots of helpful threads and friendly knowledgeable people on this forum.

This isn't every upgrade and accessory, but you may be thinking of this thread.

Here's a thread with a link to the Playlist with videos on totally taking manual safety CZ's apart, upgrading, and back together again. It's mostly filmed with these SP-01 Compacts.

Did you have any specifics you wanted to accomplish?

Received C0734xx today, didn't have enough daylight to do any shooting but I did get it cleaned up. I'm really surprised at how thin the safety levers are, nice for carry but I could see missing it if you were in a hurry. I definitely like the longer (than P-01) beavertail, the short ones seem to dig into my hand pretty badly.
As for fit and finish, it has less hammer camming than my SP-01 did from the box and the internal machining is a bit cleaner than my SP as well.
Just doing presentations and dry firing I can say that the rear sight has to go. I prefer a front dot and an all black U-notch rear, so I'll have to swap it out. A friend is making some holsters for my SP-01 and my full rail Operator this week so I'll likely have him make an IWB for this as well, it's heavy but the right holster can manage it I think.

I think the thread I'm remembering talked about all the different CGW options? Might be miss remembering

Wrote this in a hurry. Just post what parts you may have more questions about and what not. Is this more of what you were looking for?

My SP01 compact and I aren't going to be seeing each other for a few years due to my new duty station. So I am thinking of having it NP3+ coated while I am gone. The stock finish isn't that great on CZs and kinda like the look.

That and sights and I am done

These pistols do seem to enjoy a bit higher level of fit and finish than a lot of my other CZs.  I almost hated to swap the nicely working hammer/sear with my CGW Pro kit parts.  Almost.

I'm a big fan of the NP3 finishes.  One of my 1911s is the Sig railed nickel that has NP3 over stainless and it's beautiful.  Having your SP01C done while gone might make for a nice welcome home gift to yourself when you come back.

Thank you for your service and take care while stationed away from the US.

Don't feel too bad for me ,I am going to hawaii. Which is absolutely the nicest place the army has sent me. I've heard a lot of stories of service members shipping thier firearms to Hawaii and then a week or so later thier homes get broken into and thier firearms are missing.

Not willing to risk that with what I have now.

Just hearing how easy it is to clean has me sold.  Not sure if I want to do just the frame or the internals as well.

Thank you. And I think I'll be okay in Hawaii ,maybe some sun burn lol . So much nicer than everywhere the army sent me in the past .

Mr gun dealer all sold out. Impact guns seems to be the only one with any stock left at the cheaper $540-$545 price, but a few places like Buds and Kygunco still have a small handful. Well, that and Czcustom has a about 50 ish

Be careful in Hawaii.  I did a lot of TDY there and the rip tides can be a b***h
