Thanks for the pics. I thought the P-01 was slightly shorter and would protrude less but from those pics they look to be about the same?

are you talking about protruding from the right side of the gun? like the shaft that seems to stick out on the SP-01 compact? if so, yes it's nearly flush instead of sticking out

Exactly what I was asking. Thanks!

Why did I have to venture onto this thread tonight? I just happened to have Gunbroker pulled up, and sure enough, I found one available at a good price, so it's mine! I reckon that gives me a week to read up on how to post pics here, for evidence.  ;D

-Incogneato: Use any photo hosting service, be it Facebook or Photobucket, copy the url to the photo.
Next, click the insert image icon beneath the Bold button.  Then, paste the url between the brackets.

Also, while I'm checking up, heres some targets I shot the other day. Now, before you go laughing me out of the thread, bear in mind I'm an amateur and I've only been getting range time on a regular basis for the past couple months.
Blasphemy I know, but it probably had something to do with me acquiring a certain firearm.  ;) ;D

Here's my warm-up with Federal 115gr at ~15 yards, just dumped an entire mag at each target.

Here's some cheap PPU 115 brass that the CZ just seems to love for some reason. Again at 15 yards with some double action fun.

She's still stock for now, debating whether I really wanna do anything to it to be honest.

Funny how this rare batch of CZs seem to be the ONLY steel compacts available!  Hopefully a rare of late batch of traditional compacts will become available coincident with excess cash in my wallet!  Especially if they make it stainless -- I'll take out a second mortgage, LOL.

Haha. A stainless PCR or p-01 will have my cc out so fast it will have vertigo

I've thought about having my SP-01 compact black nitrited.. ( frame, barrel, slide, trigger bar, )There's a shop about 45 minutes away that does it and they do firearms as well. They used to do the nitriding for S&W, on their M&P's. I've already dropped the mags I have off at another place to get them plated in electroless nickel, that should solve the rusting problem I was starting to get just from carrying a reload. The two things stopping me  from nitriding the pistol are, cost (I figure this won't be cheap.) I really don't want to disassemble the entire pistol to do this.. Maybe down the road, after the polycoart starts coming off.

Shoot until you have 5000 pieces of brass.  Then start reloading. After the 5000 reloads, maybe refinish the gun.

I do reload (got a 650 for xmas, been reloading for 36years) I've probably got about 3000 peices of 9mm that I use now, got another 3000 in storage..I've also been carrying it..

Is it OK to assume that these will fit into a P-01 holster or which holsters does it fit into?

supposedly MOST P-01 holsters will fit them, but some can be picky. especially hard kydex ones that don't flex

That red box SIG next to it might have the most value.

I've got a Clinger Stinger Kydex for my P-01 and my 75 Compact DOES NOT fit in it.
