I have small hands. So much so that on my CZ85 I installed CGW's trigger reduce reach kit (sic). While it did set the trigger reach back a few mm, I found it not enough and ended getting used to the longer reach. Now, onto the TS .40. I love my TS and I found the stock wood grips to be a bit slippery so I opted for the aluminum thin grips.
The thin grips do narrow the grip and the reach was comfortable. I do have to switch my grip to reach the mag release. But that works fine in competition. To get good traction I placed aggressive skaters tape. The grip is quite sure and firm (t my liking) and there is ample trigger finger room
All in all, I think this should not be a deal breaker for you as the grip choices will resolve any length issue you may have.
1) the aluminum grips make for a narrow frame and a good positive reach.
2) the stock grips are a little wider, but traction seems lacking.
3) Modifying the rubber grips gives a nice molded feeling that, if you use a grip strengthener you will find quite workable.
I suppose my only caveat is if your fingers are on the bell curve fringe of shortness there may be an issue.
