I've posted here before about using my P09 in last years IDPA matches. It's one of my favorite guns, accurate, superb recoil management, fits my hands well- very ergonomic.

Only change I made was to put a FO front sight on, rest of gun is stock.

Think the P09 is a sleeper amongst the polymer gun class. If I can find a P07 at a good price locally, I just might grab one.
If you like the PO 9 stock condition.
you don't know what you're missing by not changing the springs and doing the internal polishing.  It transforms your $450 decent shooter into a thousand-dollar incredible shooter.
the potential for this gun is far beyond what you've already experienced. JMHO

I have to tally agree with the "you don't know what you're missing by not changing the springs and doing the internal polishing" comment. In fact don't stop there. You can take it a whole lot further with a CGW short reset kit and a comp. hammer. If you do all that you have a virtual tack driver if you are a good enough shot!

NWcityguy2,

That looks like a lot of fun! Is that the Butterfield range? What holster and mag carriers are you using for your P-09?

Appreciate the video! The more pics and videos on this site the better... I just purchased my P-09 suppressor ready  handgun last Thursday and shot it today Sunday. I shot 250 rnds. through it with no issues what so ever.  The suppressor ready model has a 5" barrel. The gun shot great out of the box. I'm really pleased with it . Gonna get a trigger pull gauge on it and break it in well before spending more cash on mods.

I'm glad to see the P09 satisfy yet another customer. Respectfully, though, just go ahead and get all the CGW parts for this gone. All you'll be doing is wasting time breaking parts that you'll end up replacing anyhow.
Pretty much a CZ fanboy.

I wondered if the suppressor ready longer barrel would make a significant difference.

Oh, I know about David's Cajun magic- he touched my P01 Omega & I love it.
