Got mine installed the other night, and the only issue I had was getting the 3.5 roll pin (the farthest forward) back into the gun. A couple thoughts....
*It's always intimidating taking apart a new gun, but the install is straightforward and there aren't any "gotcha" moments that could send you to a gunsmith.
*The gun is greaser from the factory than I thought it was.
*I didn't see any obvious parts inside that would benefit from polishing. I've heard there is, but the trigger feels so good out of the box that I'll be fine letting it polish itself out.
*The 3.5 spring feels really light to me. Like, too light for carry. But then my other guns are a Shield and a Ruger SP-101
With some conscientious practice, I believe it's going to solve the pinch. I can grip so high on this gun, my finger goes into the trigger guard at a downward angle. With a proper grip and mindful finger placement (just a little more than my finger tip) it feels fantastic. I originally planned on installing a fiber optic front sight and just shooting the thing, but the trigger looks to be a good investment beyond just making it comfortable to shoot. I can't wait to get this thing to the range!
