What spare parts to have at hand?

I'm not sure why you think you need an ejector?  But I would be shocked if they are different between your 75 BD and the Compact.  There could be subtle differences with tolerances and thus they have a number associated with them to change timing I'm assuming.  http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/042001730304_Decocking-Ejector-3

My spare list is:
Trigger return spring
Recoil Spring
Main Spring
Slide Stop
Extractor
Firing pin (cajun gun works)
Firing pin return spring (cajun gun works)
Firing pin retaining pin (cajun gun works)

I actually have spares for all springs but probably don't need them all.  CZ hasn't changed their design between your 75 BD and the Compact (non omega).  I also wouldn't worry about the factory shutting down any time soon.  Spares should be available long after anyway.

I'm not going to say that an ejector won't break but it is far less likely than a trigger return spring or slide stop.  If you can purchase from Cajun Gun Works, then I would pick up your spare parts from them.  Most springs, firing pins, trigger pin, hammers, and firing pin retaining pins are upgrades that should last longer than you (unless you plan on shooting a lot).

CZ hasn't really changed their design on the 75 series of guns (since 1975).  There are millions of firearms out there and thus millions of spare parts for the one off failures.  If CZ ever decided to exit the firearms market, there would be a global revolt and somebody would purchase their operation and continue making all the fine firearms.

What is your shooting volume and what is the intended use of your firearms?

Shooting at the range, training self defense is the program.
Volume per year (I have other firearms...) with the 9mm CZ : less than 1000 rounds.
The spares are to avoid being in a mess in case of a SHTF situation should it occur as I see the delays to obtain spares for CZ here...

Ok, I'll take the spare ejector off the list. Or just take one...
I wonder why CZ factory says that the ejectors are different (but maybe compatible...)?

I managed to order my spares at the CZ US Shop (my US contact did it for me, my basket was just awaiting payment). The rest I found here in EU cheaper (but not everything was available or listed, hence US order).

Hi all!

I'll finally be receiving my spares in a couple of days hopefully.
I kept adding stuff for my contact to put in the box he was sending me...

Have to be patient!
I'll be getting as a bonus a Wheeler Digital Firearms Accurizing Torque Wrench and an Arisaka Optic Leveler Combo for my Tikka CTR and its rifle scope.

In the meanwhile, my recoil spring broke during a combat shooting training!
It jammed once, good exercise for the tap/rack thing. It then worked ok for the rest of the training.
Once home, I cleaned the gun and found out for the spring!
So, hopefully I had one in spare (bought from the EU shop). Not the same, the coil is flat and much longer. It is harder to rack it now!
Now I'm having problems with the slide stop. It won't stay down and jams the slide at each shot by going upwards.

So I have the spring for the slide stop. Waiting for the slide stop special CZ P01 (also called CZ 75 D Compact) because it seems it should be different from the full size I have.

Hope to have no more problems then.

I do have 2 questions for you guys :
1) How do I change the slide stop spring. There is a slide stop spring pin (part N?4 on the parts lists) I have to take out?
I have various punchs in my tool box.
Do I push it to the inside of the frame?
It will fall out then?
To put it back, direction is from outside (right side) towards inside? I can't see how to do it otherwise.
How do you hold the spring in place while putting the pin in place?

2) What website are you using now to upload pictures?
Photobucket is trying to rip me off so no thanks.
Hostingpics where I started putting pictures (that are still here on this forum for the moment...) is shutting down.

I read some reviews before purchasing. 
Decided to go for the more expensive digital one because I'm in metric system and didn't want to fiddle around while on the field (I'm using a scope and red dot and a See All on my 3 rifles, one of these using 2 different optics).

Hello, for Kadet, my spares are Ejector, ejector pin. I have had them come loose so replaced them, I keep an extractor, pin and spring, I keep a recoil spring and guide, a firing pin and spring and a mag spring. Also, a barrel retaining pin is good to keep as they fail fairly often. I have used most of these parts at one time or another. I do have 3 Kadets and shoot them alot.


To remove slide stop spring, I used a flat blade ( spackle knife) to press down on the front of the spring ( in the frame cut on the right side) to relieve pressure on the forward pin. In my gun the pin easily moved towards center of the gun once pressure was removed, then when clear of the forward pin, I raise the spring approx 90 degrees and pull it from the rear hole in the frame. Not hard at all.

Been a while.
I had all my goodies delivred fine.

Ordered at CZ USA Shop. And others here in EU.

My recoil spring broke during an NTTC session. It kept on working after a tap-rack. This round spring had been cut down by PO for an unknown reason, but I suspect for competition reasons as he was a competitor.
The plastic guide rod was beaten up too.
So I changed both with parts ordered at CZ Shop.
Did have a hard time with the recoil spring on my 75 P-01 and its aluminium guide rod. The guide rod they sell isn't meant for the flat type recoil spring they sell...but they don't sell either another type of guide rod nor another type of spring so both of these parts would fit together. I'm baffled.
Anyways, got a friend to machine the guide so it's now ok.

A gunshop sent me a slide stop spring from a Tanfoglio because no one seems to have my model.
I have an R (rounded) shaped spring (old style).
I had to cut a bit off the Tanfo one and brace it a little.
Have been doing a lot of NTTC lately and almost 1000 rds through the gun : everything is ok now (I did have some slide stop issues : would lock my gun open some times : weak spring and worn slide stop = changed everything).

So, question is : where do I find an R shaped slide stop spring???


They have them in South Africa at a CZ shop, but they won't send outside their country and I don't have a contact over there to shop for me.
I'd like to buy 3 of them to be on the safe side as they are hard to come by.

Are the L ones compatible?

Try the CGW spring and see if it works. It?s $3 plus $8 shipping so might as well order other stuff for your guns.
