I have some things to order both at CZ Shop and maybe CGW.
I have a special discount offer until may 28th : free shipping on CZS...

Just sent CGW an email to ask if it their slide spring would do the job. If so, I'll take it from them and add a stainless guide rod which IS both for flat and round springs... ::)

Was thinking that someone would've already worked on that question (slide spring) though. I'm surely not the first to ask?

My question

Slide stop spring CZ 75 old style Message Body: Hi, My CZ has the old style R (or rounded) shaped slide stop spring. Do you offer these? If so, I would need 2 of them. This one looks close to it, but it's the L shaped one for old CZs : https://cajungunworks.com/ product/slide-stop-spring-old- style/ Regards

As long as your spring follows the same contours of the 3OS on our website, you should be good.

Hum, basically I can't compare the 2 springs as I don't have the dimensions. So I'm on my own I guess... :-X

I'll wait for an answer from CZS (asked them if they could get the old style spring). If they can't find it, I'll try CGW's one.

Is the joe tool a good idea?

My two full size CZs with safeties (75B, 75 Shadow),  I've had these parts break/fail. ( Both have 60k RDS or maybe more rounds through them.):

ranked most likely to fail first:
Slide stops
Slide stops
Older style OEM trigger springs.(2) The newer trigger springs haven't failed since
Extractor (only one,  where the blade chipped slightly)
Competition Hammer & Sear ( one of each when the sharp edges wore rounded between the sear and  comp.hammer)

Pins that "I" have damaged when removing/installing them:  Front Sight pin (2), Firing pin safety pin (1)

No pins have failed on their own.
No Firing Pins have ever failed. (I did install extended FPs with new springs a long time ago on both pistols)
No Firing Pin Springs have ever failed.
No hammer spring has ever failed ( I have lightened both springs for my pull weight preferences)

Stock mag springs will eventually "weaken" and need replacements.

Re slide stop spring.  I honestly can't rember for sure,  but I do remember having them out once in each pistol. :-\

Hi!

Sorry for upping and old thread, but did you ever get a solution for this problem? I am in the same boat (need the more rounded "L" shaped spring) and just like you I can not find it anywhere but in that store in South Africa.
