Agreed... I'm going to order a P01 slide stop, some different base-pads for the magazines (hate the rubber), a couple 16-round magazines with SP-01 base-pads, and I'll play around with main/hammer springs to cut the D/A pull weight down some.

K.

Try the Beretta base pads, I prefer them to the rubber.

Not my picture, but you get the idea.

How about a more flush fitting slide-stop?

TIA,

K.

That's about my only complaint.
Seems a bit off that you get the thin safeties, thin grips and then a short fat slide stop?!? So I ordered a standard P-01 slide stop as suggested in the video.
This slide stop isn't an issue in my kydex holster, but I have a leather pancake on the way and I'll likely order a MS VM2 for it as well, so the standard P-01 slide stop should be a better fit for those.

Greg Cote has the new 15 round mags with a flat plastic base pad. I like them better than the rubber 14 rounders.

Well you guys were no help !!  ;) I deemed it an Emergency all by myself and my pistol will be at the FFL on Tuesday !  ;D ;D Anyways silly question here but what is the "common" mag for these ? Will my PO-1 Mags work and fit like in my 01 or does it take different ones ? I know my Full size mags fit but they hang out so just looking for info on whether I need to buy different ones. Thanks

AWESOME,I was thinkin and hoping it took the same mags ! I aready have 8 for my 01 so with the 2 that come with it I should be in good shape for awhile. But looks like its time to stock up on a few (dozen) more !  ;) I'm just gonna run the pistol stock for now and see how it goes, probably just change the grips and call it a day.  Thanks

As was mentioned above, the shadow compact mags are the same 14 round rubber base mags that come with all the compacts except they are stainless steel or nickel plated, it will be easy to pick them out of the bunch.

I can live with the DA pull so really don't plan to monkey with my SLC at all. I bought a plain Jane 91199 P-01 that I can mod as I'd like.

I think you'll be pretty happy with the gun out of the box.

Grabbed one of the last ones from Stuart about s month ago.  Added a HTAC Rear, a CGW 10X Bushing, S2 Extended safety, PPD BILLET Basepads, a P01 slide stop and a CGW Ultralight Kit with some polishing.  Man what a sweet shooter!!

My favorite CZ thus far

This was my dream gun before the SP-01 Compacts showed up. Hard to believe it is in stock again! With the alloy frame it is nice and light, but it costs as much as both of my SP-01 Compacts... Not what I can swing right now but I sure hope a bunch of member get them! Thanks to the member who posted this in another sub forum!

Thanks..I looked all over their site, and could'nt find it.. I'm on the fence as to using something like this as a carry gun, I like a firing pin block in a carry gun, as well as a decocker, Still, this is tempting..  OPPS, that's the full size SP01,

Faulty logic.  You need to purchase 2 6-slot mag holders from Midway USA.  That means you need 12 mags for the holders and 1 for each pistol.  According to my math you are 4 mags SHORT!
