CZ P10C MAG BASE
« on: February 11, 2018, 12:47:02 AM »
I got a nice cheat for the CZ P10C mags. Not sure others know this so here goes. The Vickers Tactical baseplates for the SW M&P fit the CZ mags perfectly. They are awesome. $21 for 5 off of websites. Just wanted everyone to know they work and are awesome.

What do they look like?  I suppose they offer an advantage stripping a stuck mag?  (Might be OK for P07/09 use also).

I decided to try swapping mag baseplates from my CZ P10C and my M&P full size and they were swappable with both fitting each other no problem. More interesting though was when I compared Magazine springs between the two models. Both Magazine springs were about the same length, with the CZ having one more coil. I'd almost bet that the M&P spring would work in the CZ magazine. Maybe this would give P10 owners another option for mag springs if others are hard to source. I'm not saying that is a problem, just that it's just good to have options.

What dd the BASES look like ON THE p10c?  Tried the MP base plate on the P07 last night and it sticks out a ton in the front.  Do the Vcicker's bases look the same?

This is what a stock M&P baseplate looks like on the CZ mag in the P10C. Note the gap between the grip and baseplate. Second pic is with CZ stock baseplate. I'm guessing dimensionally the M&P stock baseplate is very similar to the Vickers one.

Thank you sir - that helps a bunch.  Truth is that the P10C mag base does not fit the P07 exactly, and CZ does not sell the REGULAR P07 bases.

I took a few screen shots of a YouTube video of a guy putting on the Vickers base plate for the M&P. There's a lot bigger gap similar to above. Not my cup of tea.
He mentions the Vickers Glock base plates fit but says he can't source the base plate retainers. They're easy to find so I'm curious what they'd look like.
