SRS 1 install question on a PCR
« on: February 18, 2018, 04:21:10 PM »
I have started to do the install work of a CGW SRS-1. This is on a PCR.   The directions seem easy enough, and I got started eagerly.

I'm getting ready to remove the sear cage pin. When I notice that on the left side the frame.  It doesn't look big enough for the pin to be removed.

All the other pictures of this process I've seen does not have this.  It's just a pin to be driven out.  Am I missing something?

Thanks!

It?s a disk to help hold the sear pin in. ( actual part is called ?fixing insert?) Place a punch on the edge of the inner hole and tap it out. Make sure to put it back in when putting back together. Should slide back in, sometimes I use a punch and push it in.
