Greetings
My P07 was pretty rough OOB, but I figured it would need some break in time. At 500 rds it had smoothed out a bit, but hit a plateau and by 1000 rds hadn't really changed much more. The videos I found here gave me enough confidence to attempt a teardown.
I disassembled it and polished the innards as described here on the forum and managed to get it all back together again !!! I found a piece of brass rod that matched the trigger pin exactly and made a few slave pins. Definitely a must !! Another big help was finding some dowel stock matching the main spring plug, to help in it's removal. I drilled a blind hole in my bench for the dowel. and just pressed the pistol down on the bench to relieve pressure on the pin.
After polishing the necessary surfaces, and relieving a bit of pressure on the trigger bar spring, I was amazed at the improvement at the range. I've decided to forego all the parts I was thinking of replacing and use those funds toward a new range toy for the wife !
