CZ Polymer Pistols: P10, P-07, P-09 / Re: Finally-New P10C is released
« Last post by Faeruss7 on Today at 07:14:20 PM »I think it’s a step in the right direction, perhaps it will breathe some new life in the P10 series (and the associated aftermarket).
I think the ported P10C will appeal to those who prefer no weapon light, a weapon light that is flush, or perhaps some competitive-shooters.
Fundamentally it’s going to hit like a P10S, shoot like a P10C and carry like a P10C. Since compensating primarily is meant to keep the dot in the window, not utilizing an optic makes the porting overwhelmingly meaningless.
If one utilizes a Surefire (or form-factor equivalent), then a P10C OR-SR will result in a more capable overall setup (and obviously bigger). However there’s a reason the Roland Special became a thing after ported handguns already existed.
There is a market for the ported P10C, but as someone who is familiar with more-complicated setups for CCW, this arrangement has virtually no appeal to me.
