Like others I found myself looking for a better sight for my P-01. After searching for awhile, I chose to go with the DXT Big Dot sight system This is going to be my every day carry at some point and I wanted a sight that could be picked up under any condition very easily.
Just installed the sights this week and have not made it to the range yet, but will be very soon. The installation was very easy and everything went great. Reached out to XS Sights with one question via email and a phone call. The phone was answered on the second ring and a response to my email was sent promptly. Seemed to me the gentlemen that answered the phone knew exactly what he was talking about. There was no..... well...maybe....have you tried this.....or it could be this. He simply stated...this is how it works and this is how we do it, with some explanation along the way. The email response, from a different person, backed up the telephone conversation as well.

Here are some pics of the DXT Big Dots after installation. Tried to use different backgrounds and lighting conditions to get a better idea of how they look. As soon as I get a chance to shoot, I will post some results. Stay tuned!!!!  ;D

Did the best I could for a night pic. Looks alot better in person.

Made a few more pics in very very low light.

Thanks for the pics and info! Seeing how the Big Dot sits on top of the rear I will be interested in POI and with what ammo/bullet weight your using plus the distance from the target. Keep us posted and I'll be looking for your updates!  :D

YES please give us a update when you get to the range. I was looking at these my shelf and wondering how the sight picture would be. I was thinking of the smaller front dot. I have Dawson sights on all my compacts with black rear and red fiber front(old eyes don't work for bleep). Was looking to change up to something differant to put on my other P-01.

I?ll be waiting to hear your report as well. I?ve been carrying my P-01 and want to change the sights out ASAP. Would love a fiber rod with tritium in the front and black sights in the rear with a small tritium dot below the notch.

Added a couple more low light pics. I think they represent the low light view alot better.

I will definitely post range results as soon I as get them. I'm dying to see how they work as well!!!!  ;D

Best I can tell from my research, the rear sight dovetail is different.
Maybe others with more knowledge on this will chime in.

I have a set on my P-01 that I put on a few months back and love them. Very quick and easy to pick up, took a little getting used to but once I did I felt like I was more consistent with my shot placement.

Sorry it has taken so long. Didn't get to shoot as much as I wanted, but did get a couple targets together for everyone waiting. These are the results I managed to get while spreading 2 tons of fertilizer and planting 6 acres of corn yesterday.
First let me say, I do like these sights, ALOT!!!! These sights are not like using your standard rear notch and front post sights. It has a more open design and I almost think I could pick up the front sight with my eyes closed.  ???
The ammo used was S&B 124 gr. fmj. I did not practice and then shoot a target for this review. I started cold turkey and because of planting corn simply did not have the time.
I tried two different ways of aiming. The first pics is my first target of the day and also my first shots with the xs big dot sight. I held the bottom of the front dot very tight on top of the rear sight and I used the top of the dot as my aiming point.
The results were, as the first picture shows.
5 yds, was 2" low
10 yds. was 3" low
15 yds. was 4" low
20 yds. was 5" low

I went on to planting while giving it a little thought. At lunch time we took a break and I walked back over to the range. This time I decided to try them as xs recommends, go figure. I didn't try holding the front dot so tight on top of the rear sight and used it as a dot sight, covering the target with the center of the front dot as my aiming point. The second picture shows the results of this. My groups aren't quite as tight, but I was dragging butt after 2 tons of fertilizer, 5 hours of disking and still had about 9 hours of planting to go.
Over all, I am very pleased with my new sights and the results. ;D
I will be posting more results as I get them. Sorry for the delay.

First target of the day. All groups are 5 shots.

This is the second target of the day. All groups are 5 shots.

After posting, noticed the second target was not very clear. Here are some expanded pictures of second target.

Question, would these sights fit on a CZ75 compact model?
