Your subject line "95b" made me wonder if there was a CZ model that I was missing!

I went through all of the pictures that you posted and still couldn't find anything "95b", so I presume you meant "75b" and it is just a typo.

You can go back to your original post and select "Modify" and correct your subject line.
Thank you.

CZ noob mistake for sure.  I did not realize I could correct it.  Corrected several posts.

I DO have a 97b on my wish list.  Lol

Thanks again for your help.

To fix it on the thread, yiou need to go back to the FIRST post and correct it.
Also, the best rule of thumb for posting pictures is to resize them for about 900 650 pixels wide, this save a lot of left/right scrolling.

Thanks!

2023 Update:  the Forum mods now want picture posts to be no wider than 650 pixels

I especially like the full length guide rod. Every 75 I have is going to get that same treatment. What a difference it makes.

What differences do you note? In the 1911 world, I don’t thing they make any difference other than a touch more muzzle weight.

Without it, the spring mangles and contorts within the dust cover, crunching along every cycle.

The half guide rod is 1911'ish.

With a full length guide rod assembly everything is more straight forward (literally).

Smoother cycling, no bunched up springs etc.

Now I don't recommend that people send their guns out to have this done... But if they are capable at home then I would put it on the list of to-do's.

It's enough of a pet peeve that I printed a 3D jig to drill the centered hole of the dust cover.

The added muzzle weight is a plus.
No difference while shooting that I can detect.  I'm just a hobby shooter.  A pro might say different.
Also read that full length is preferable if using non standard spring weights.

Good points underwhere.
Super cool that you 3d printed that jig!

I agree 100.  Unless you can afford to replace your slide after failing - do not attempt.

Here is the thread where we go way too detailed on drilling for the guide rod, jigs, fitment, spring length. Etc.
