Got my warranty received card yesterday...
I got my gun back today. Same gun, same SN. It took 38 days and now the magazines drop like a stick of butter out of a red hot tube. I don't know why, but there are a couple very small pits in the slide that weren't there and the paint was removed from the front sight. I know it's cheap plastic, but still...... There  are very fine scratches the length and width of the back side of the magazine that I don't recall being there at the time I sent it in.  I'm thinking they may have shaved a thin layer of metal off to allow them to fit properly in the mag well.  None of the paperwork that came back with it indicates what was done to correct the problem. So we'll see what happens when I get a chance to shoot it.

I just got mine today from Fed Ex - completely new gun.  Serial number starting A752XXX - old gun serial number was A644XXX.

Magazine release button does not seem to be sticking into the magazine well like it was on my first one.  The magazine well also looks much shinier than my original pistol - like it was a better molding process quality-wise.

The magazines drop like an anvil - even the one I had from the first pistol.  That's loaded with bullets or empty, locked back or not.

They didn't include the Safety Lever in the box with the new pistol so I will be calling CZ-USA and asking them to send me my safety lever.

EDIT:  The mags pop out an inch when I hold the gun upside down - yeehaw.

New guy here, just wanted to tell of my experience with the warranty, on my P07. Talked to Richard on Friday,April,30,2010, had an email with fedex label attached. I shipped my P07 on Monday May3, 2010, CZ received pistol on the 4th. I couldn't believe it, when I got home today, my P07 was here waiting for me.

Works perfect.

Now is that service or what.

CZ fan for life,

Steve

Took the replacement P-07 out today to run it through the paces.  I had a new shooter with me and started him on my Beretta NEOS 22LR pistol.

Once he got the hang of that I had him run 50 through the P-07.  I ran another 50 through it.  We each popped off a few at a zombie target as well.

Then he wanted to get serious and have a competition.

We through up a 12" 4 ring ShootN'C target with diamond bulls-eye.  We counted the bull as 5, next ring around bull as 4, then 3, then outer large ring as one.

We each loaded up 5 in a mag at a time and shot another 50 through the gun.  We shot at 30 feet (10 yards).  I was kicking his butt of course, but he did well when he minded all the stuff about aiming and trigger finger control that I tried to impart.  I nailed more than a couple bulls which had to be only 1" across.

* No issues with magazine drop all day.
* No issues with locking back on empty all day even with a new shooter.
* No issues with ejection or chambering all day.

I really do love this gun.  It rocks my world.

We were also shooting my Birchwood Casey spinner and I could get it to spin around and then stop the spin by shooting the opposite circle while it was still moving.  3" and 6" circles I believe.  We made that part of the competition too.  We added the Neos to the competition and had to put 3 on the large and 2 on the small after shooting the 5 on the paper with the CZ.

New poster here. I knew of the sticky mags and the bulge before I bought my P07 from Academy. Some of the reasons why I bought the CZ was because of accuracy, polymer for concealed carry, and the only other option for me would've been the SR9 (which I did not like). So here I am at the gun counter inspecting the P07. Bulge? check. Sticky mag? check. I bought the gun knowing I would have to send it in. This is not my only weapon, so it was not an issue with me having to send it in. But when I was checking the mag release, I had trouble almost 80 percent of the time. The guy behind the gun counter took it and tried to release the mags. He didn't have any trouble at all getting the mags to release. Turns out, he was not proficient with guns. He was holding the gun with his right hand open and pushing the release button with his left hand. The pressure from griping the gun prevents mag release. Try releasing the mag while holding the the rail and pushing the release button with your thumb. Works 100% of the time for me. Still, this shouldn't be an issue. I own other polymers, and I can tell this type of polymer is way softer with a lot of give. Must explain the bulge and mag release issue. Still, I'm calling CZ tomorrow in hopes of getting a prepaid shipping label and new gun. Thanks for reading.

UPDATE:

Called and talked to Neil today. He said the only fix is a replacement. Gave me an RA# and a call tag via email. At first he was hesitant to give me a call tag, but I asked for one and was given one. I'm hoping to get one of the new serial numbers that supposedly fix the bulge issues. Will keep everyone posted.

Love the customer service.  I called and told them that I didn't get my safety with the new pistol.  one is on the way.  Strange though - they had to ask for my name and address again - I figured they would have had me in the system tied to my RMA number or something....

When you guys are calling regarding a P-07 which has already ben sent in for warranty, who are you speaking to?

Mine has been gone for over a month, leaving me with ZERO guns at home or to use for ccw.  I WANT IT BACK, or a different gun!  My P-07 can't defend my home and family when it's sitting in Kansas waiting for warranty work!

I'm really close to just driving down to my local shop and buying something altogether different and call it quits with CZ.  I don't WANT to do that, though. I really liked the gun while I had it.  But I also LOVED the Jericho I sold so that I could buy my CZ.

I spoke to CZ-USA about the sticking mag issues, and I was advised this indicates defective magazines. Please call 1-800-955-4486 and ask to speak to Matt or Justin, and they will work with you on swapping magazines with you. Hope this helps!

1st post in here says to ask for Matt or Justin.  I just spoke to the 1st person that dealth with warranty issues.  His name was Richard if memory serves.

I got a package from CZ delivered on 5/27.  New gun.  Mags drop like they are jet-assisted!  Also, the replacement p-07 has a lanyard loop which my original did not have - maybe a mid-year change?

Got an email from CZ with tracking #. Suppose to be delivered tomorrow, which would be two weeks from the date they recieved my gun. Will keep everyone posted.

Ok, got gun in just an hour ago. It's a new gun with A7 serial #. Gun still has slight bulge which I will get over. Mags still hang a little, but not enough to matter. It came in a plastic bag coated with oil, so I cleaned it. While cleaning, I notice the front sights were missing. No biggie either. I'm just dying to shoot it. Got a steel guide rod on order too. Now gotta get a holster for the hip and ankle. Thanks for reading.

You are all so lucky to be stateside and CZ could extend their excellent service to you that easily, for us in the Philippines approx 15,000 kms away it is next to impossible and my dealer was telling me a turnaround of approx 6-7 mos, we'd just live with our minor minor flaw and made my own corrections base on the post here

following this thread since purchasing my P-07 & having 1 "sticky"mag & 1 that worked "ok"
Sent it back like many of you have with no word, other than a postcard type mailing that my pistol has been received & that typical turnaround is 4-6 weeks. Decided to call today & like many of you have posted they informed me that they were waiting on a new shippment of guns to REPLACE the ones sent in, guess alot of us will be getting new guns !!!
Funny thing is ... i thought i bought a new gun the first time, LOL !

I just got my new gun from cz usa, I told them about my sticky mag problems, they told me it was not the mags, so they had me send my gun and both mags in, well they called and told me they were going to send me a new gun. Well it just got here and it is a new gun.. So dont just think its a mag problem, its the gun.. If you live in california, do not worry about the problem.. they will send you the gun with no mags, you can only have a 10 round mag in ca not 16. i live in ca and bought my gun in TX, so they sent 2 mags back with the new gun, I got lucky, but I love my p-07 duty..
