I got mine from classic firearms for $220.00. Transfer fee to my local shop $20.00 I replaced the recoil spring and the firing pin spring, just because it was way to simple/ Not sure if it needed it or not $10.00. Grips were $65.00. I bought 3 extra mags for about $70.00 bucks. The gun came with one. I had Brian at EFR refinish it. He added CZ 75 rubber bases to the mags and a CZ 75 PCR sights. He charged me about $300.00 that included shipping back to me. Total I have into it is about $685.00 with some misc. shipping charges from the other guys I got the grips, springs and mags from. As far as replacing any major parts inside. Nothing!! Shoots like a dream. Brian breaks it down all the way to refinish it so I'm sure he sanded any rough spots he found.
Know I'm thinking about getting another one!! :o He has 3 he re did on his site that look killer and are around $495

Good point, what all does it really take to get one of these back into great condition?

I bought my CZ82 from AIM Surplus for $219.95 plus shipping to my house, about $32. I have a C&R license so no extra FFL transfer fees. The only thing I did was field strip, clean, and lubricate generously. No other work needed. The finish was very good considering it's a 1984 model and I didn't pay the extra fee for "hand select".

I like the 82 as much as the next guy, but I'd rather buy a new 75 for this price! LOL........I guess we will see how much I spend when I buy my own 82, 'cause I plan on modding/refinishing it.

Here is mine. I picked it up at a local shop and had it refinished, tuned, and gripped.

Just got mine back from Mahovsky's today. It's the hard chrome Metalife finish. He does a great job and his price is excellent, considering he does the whole dis-assembly and re-assembly. Now I have a nice set. I can pick either dark or light, depending upon my mood.

Very nice! Where did you get your poly grips and did you re-blue the gun yourself?

Thanks. The poly grips are inlaid carbon fiber and made by Paul at Designergrips.com
I did not blue the gun myself. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the place where it was refinished, or the name of the type of finish it is. (getting old) When my brain fart passes, I'll post it!   :-[

Will be posting picks of mine in 1 week when i get it back.  It's been gone for 1 week already, i'm not sure but i think this two week period is longer than average due to all this hype going around lately.  I will have to admit in advance the 2 tone coating i selected is an exact copy of one that brian did from efr, including the grips from grips4u.  It turned out to be alot cheaper for me to do locally which i couldn't pass up given my recent financial status, but thanks to brian for inspiring me to recreate a pistol he already made it looks tooo good.  I also am getting two base plates that i ordered from "75 plus" quite some time ago coated.  Any way will post picks on friday or saturday when i pick up.

Warpspasm does indeed have a nice collection. Yours actually looks like it's in good shape even w/out any refinishing. Where did you get yours from? I got mine from J&G and I can't complain about the condition, especially for a surplus gun and the price...
