Got the new Kadet conversion for my cz75 SA and filed less than 105 degrees with a small file.  Only one FTE in about 500 rds.  Great product!!  Thanks for the heads up.

Has this modification failed for anyone?

I purchased a new Kadet (the gun, not the kit).

I have about 3 stovepipes per 50 rounds. The best that I have been able to is 70 rounds without a stovepipe.

I have tried CCI Blazer, Remington Golden Bullet  (40 grain and 36 grain), Federal Value Pack, and Wolf Match Extra. I've had stovepipes with all of them.

Mike at CZ suggested bending the ejector inward. I tried this, but it did not work.

Can someone email me images of their "fixed" ejector?  I am unsure of the angle.

            Thanks,

Can anyone post description (even better if picture) about the differences between the original firing pin and the new (fixed) firing pin?

I'm wondering if I can modify the original to match the profile of the newer one instead of replacing it.

            Thanks,
            Bruno

Find some web space (most ISPs give you some free space). After you upload them, copy down the url. Then post here and at the left of where you type in your text, there is a box that says "image". Click on it and a box will open up -- put the url in there and click "ok".

If you have any trouble, PM me and I'll send you my email address. You can email them to me and I'll post them.

I am attempting to apply the solution proposed on this thread to solve two very frustrating problems: 1. stovepipes and 2. extraction failures that result in a new cartridge being jamming underneath a partially-extracted shell.

Can the anyone email or post an image of the proposed ejector modification?

Does anyone have other suggestions?

Whoa...

Kadet conversion kit would be my next big CZ purchase for my CZ 75 Compact.

I didn't know such issue existed. I see that the original post was back in 2001. Are there any improvement made by CZ regarding this issue?

Also, do you plan on posting those pictures back?

CZ has a new shaped firing pin with a chisel tip, they sent me one for free to replace the old one. I had filed some material off the shoulder to allow it to protrude further out so the hammer would smack it harder. Seemed to help some. The new Firing pin really helped. The bending of the extractor never really helped the FTE but filing the ejector to about 110' did. Look at the one in your 9 MM slide. Only have FTF with dud rounds now. A second strike takes care of 50%. The others are not firing even in other 22's. Accurate like no other ppistol for the money. I use the shoot n see fixer dot for the target. hope this helps, John

It's a shame the pictures of the modifications are no longer available. I would have liked to see them.
