I downloaded the pictures, but I don't have any way to upload them. I'll be glad to email them to anyone who does.

The bending of the extractor never really helped the FTE but filing the ejector to about 110' did. Look at the one in your 9 MM slide.

Could someone show a closeup of the 9 MM ejector?

Short story: I got brand new CZ75B .40 S&W. It was flawless with 500 rounds I fired through. With my new Kadet 2 conversion kit installed I was getting FTE once or twice per mag.

After reading this awsome information I took a closer look at ejector and  I saw the angle was not even 90', maybe 87'. I did some filing as recommended to make it about 110'. The next time at the range  -  200 rounds, not a single FTE. Thanks a lot!

Ran my "filed" kadet through its paces last week....not a single stovepipe!
CZ should take your advice and add the ejector angle to their QC.

I too bought a Kadet 2 conversion kit for my brand new CZ 75B .40. The .40 ran without issues and when it was time to shoot with the Kadet kit, it was nothing but problems and frustrations. Failure to feed and FTE/stovepipes at every mag. At one range trip, I gave up shooting it after just 30 rounds.

I was really disappointed with the kit and was wondering what is wrong it. I mean all the videos I've seen on youtube about the Kadet kit ran without a hitch. I said to myself, maybe it just needs to be broken in...So, after 500 rounds through, it seems to have minimized the FTFeed problems but I was still getting jams and stovepipes. Frustrated, I looked online to see if anyone else was having these issues and I came across this post!

This post is of great help! After some filing, I went last night to the range and ran 200 rounds (100 rnds CCI Mini Mag/ 100 rnds Winchester Xpert HP) WITHOUT any problems! It ran and shot FLAWLESSLY. From frustrations to in love with this kit. My...what a difference. So, Thank you so much for sharing this simple solution. Much appreciated!

After pics. Filed the ejector from 90? to about 110?-115?. Problems solved!

Did you remove the ejector from the slide to get a better angle before filing it?

No I did not. I just filed carefully and patiently using a Leatherman.

I can't believe CZ never did any improvement to the ejector on the Kadet 2,  since it have been a known problem ever since the conversion kit came out way back like in 2001?

Not sure which way the "slant" is?  Is this angle made to slant from front to back (laterally/horizontally) , or bottom to top (vertically), or ??

Has anyone actually removed the ejector pin?

I tried my trusty punch, hit him two good whacks with it but no joy on either direction.

Please send the pics to me at robax@globetrotter.net
I'm in desperate need for this mod as my kadet only run 80% and that is with the CCI Mini Mag wich is almost impossible to find at this time.

Thanks in advance :)
