Man oh man! The SA trigger is (I'm guessing) about 2.5 to 2.7 lbs with minimal travel before a nice clean break. The reset is short and sweet with almost no over-travel. I can't tell if the type 2 disco helped the DA or not, but with a 13 lb hammer spring its not bad at all. I'll take it out tomorrow and test fire it.
It goes fast once you're used to it. I can't tell you how many times I have disassembled this pistol and it gets effortless. I'll bet that is one smooth sweet trigger you have now!

Here it is! The test to see the impact each part had on trigger pull. Using my new SP-01 Compact as the test subject. There's more pictures to come in the next day or so, but I wanted to get this posted in hopes it helps people make some decisions on upgrades.
I'm no pro, so forgive the lack of a photo studio...

I haven't tested any but it should be the same frame as a P-01...

It fits in bladetech for p01, however if you have safety on and move it around, it could bump it iff

Being new to the compact and ambi CZ offerings, can the right side safety be removed? Said another way, could you de-ambi these?

No you couldn't remove the left side safety. These are pretty thin so of all the ambi CZ pistols I don't think th safeties would be in your way.

Finally got out to shoot my SP-01 Compact. Put 97 rounds through it at an indoor range (didn't have time to drive further to shoot outdoors.) The way this pistol fits in my hands, the weight of the steel, the balance since it isn't as long as a full size SP-01, it's my favorite CZ I own now!

First shots, unsupported 15 yards, as fast as I could see the sight back on target. Just seeing that it works.

Rounds 6-10. Supported like Joe L. 15 yards. I'm not a marksman so don't take this as ransom rest grade testing.

2 mags 5 rnds each. 5 mags 3 rounds each. 25 total rounds. Fast as I could pull the trigger. 15 yards. It ate ammo from every various CZ mag I own.

I was shoot mixed brass. 124 RN berry's. 5.6 gun BE-86 at recommended OAL (lazy way of me saying I forgot and don't want to go pull up my reloading journal right now). It ate every round with no hiccups. On the rapid 25 rounds there was some noticeable smoke down range. Fantastic ventilation system so it was gone quick. Even with a stout loading like that I didn't notice any major recoil. I love this gun!

Decent shooting there Scarlet. Looks like your SP01 Compact is as good as mine.

And Longonedaddy (can only figure out how to quote one comment in Tapatalk...) ,

Haha I wouldn't expect anything less from CZ. There is something about this pistol though, it just fits in my hands and shoots so nicely.
