You fired 1,000 rds through a handgun in half a day -

Hey, that's my kind of shooter!!
I'm a little short of 1000 rounds, but no malfunctions here either. My magazine release is fine now, and the slide release is fine. I am actually liking the trigger pull, and I haven't done anything more than put in the 4# Wolff trigger pin spring.
I've caught a lot of grief in the comments in my YouTube videos about adding the Sugru and JB-Weld to my pistol. "Ugly but functional" is my response. That's what happens when one tries to make a precision shooter (at least temporarily) out of a plastic carry gun, LOL.

Joe, after watching your vids and work tuning your P10C for your needs, it is nice to see someone who understands that some custom tuning is a must to squeeze out max performance. I have seen people commenting on your youtube vids, its your pistol, not theirs. And you can do what you want with your own gear. In this day and age, the internet makes it too easy to say stuff behind a security electronic wall, I bet many would say their comments in person.
I like to shoot/train. I guess the quest to shoot and get better got ingrained in me when I was in the Army and when I worked on the street patrolling heavy crime areas. When I was single, my budget allowed me to shoot a minimum of 4000 rounds a month. Now, being retired and having a family, I have to save up to get new gear and especially ammo. So, for me nowadays, I only shoot 1K in a day to break in a new pistol, because it may be thrust into an active self-defense role.
My weekly practices involve 100 pistol, 100 carbine, and 50 12 gauge. My family does participate once a month and they go though a similar round count.
