Yes, the front sight is serrated.  It's a squared top sight but it doesn't have any really sharp edges to it.  I've never had any problems with the Dawson front sights catching on a holster or coming out of a soft pistol case.

Thanks for the reply longgonedaddy. Good to know as my plans for my gun sights are probably too complicated and will fall back to a FO front sight. Being old school (meaning old ) I always heard FO was not for CC. Not being LE or carrying in a war my eyes really need the advantages of the Big Dot or FO.  The BD is great on my shield.

Too much light on either side is what likely contributes to mere "combat accuracy out of my Beretta 96.  Did you try or see the cgw sight for yourself? At some point  I'll be looking for an adjustable system for target shooting.

I'm not Schmeky, but the sight you linked to is an LPA sight, made in Italy. These new sights are developed by CGW and made by Dawson Precision, so you get a double warranty. The LPA sights are made for a few different manufacturer's firearms, while CGW designed these specifically for CZ pistols. Hope that helps!

Just FYI, I ordered that LPA rear sight (not from CGW) and returned it.   It was too long and overhung at the back of the slide.  Looked pretty bad. Afterwards I write to Schmeky who said some sights were forthcoming; and sure enough, the Dawson sights became available.  I ordered the 019 model with F/O and it does NOT overhang - fits like it was made by CZ!  Love the sight.

Just got back from the range and love these sights.   Target was at 5 yds and though many may deem the results "meh!" - for me this was a great improvement.  Thanks CGM and Dawson Precision!

The dovetail is the same cut for the P01 and PCR. The difference is going to be in the step in the slide that the PCR has. This will create a gap between the sight and the slide.

 I love the look of the PCR will it look funny? Does Anyone have pictures of 019 adjustable sight on a PCR.

I'd like to add another vote for developing the sight to fit the P-09.  I hope my vote helps sway CGW to make the sight for my gun.  The sooner the better!  Thanks.

Are the linked products compatible with the CZ85B?  Are the 85B dovetail cuts the same as the CZ75B?
