The Math:
- A quick check on Gunbroker shows that there have been 70 completed auctions for the 99041. 34 of them have had no bids. (Assume those were not sold)
- There are 3 current auctions for this gun.
- I personally know of 3 (that I saw with my own eyes, one that I own) that were not sold on Gunbroker
This accounts for 42 of the 50 supposed units.
TechNetArmory still has them.
CajunGunWorks still has them
We haven't accounted for any of the guns sold at local gun stores. This count is just what was available on GunBroker.
There are people in this thread that did not buy on GunBroker. I'm not going to bother trying to add them up. I think I've made my point.
Not sure if you want to call this a conspiracy or not. I wouldn't.
t's the same thing that happened with the 99021 model when it came out. Several batches of them came out.
It's not a big deal. It's what I expected and those who followed the 99021 probably expected as well.
It doesn't change the fact that it's a cool and interesting gun.
None of my comments were made to "insult" your gun purchase. I get the feeling that people are taking it that way.
Hell I bought one.
