Duke Nike’s and Vinny I do appreciate your replies.  Since I want to see what all the fuss is about the RDS I decided that it is a much cheaper experiment to first mount it n a plate then having the slide machined.  Since CGW has a very long turn around time for milling, I will be looking for other companies that offer such services in case  I am ready to pull the trigger ( no pun intended) on getting the slide machined if I do end up loving the RDS.  Have a great week-end.

I started a list of companies that do slide milling on CZ firearms, I'm sure it's not complete (I harvested some off of forums and some spelling was also incorrect), but maybe it'll give you some help:
