Interestingly enough, the cheap TRS-25 Bushnell works perfectly on the Scorpion, cowitness and all.

The TRS-25s have probably the lowest picatiny mount of all for tube type RDS.  Most people don't realize the need to mount optics low with Scorpion platform due to the stock design.

One change I've made is to go to Troy folding battle sights.  The factory ones were just a bit too low for me.  So I guess this opens it up some, especially for co-witnessing the optic.
Thanks for all the responses, still trying to figure out which one.

I added Troy Micros to mine last weekend and they are perfect with my DPP on an ADM mount... They Co-witness like they were made for each other.

I currently have an RMR RM06 but am considering the idea of trying the Holosun micro green dot.

Cheap Primary arms. choose what ever red dot has the features you like the most.

Higher end, Trijicon MRO or Aimpoint T1

I went with the new PA Cyclops + ADM mount = super low height, perfect for the scorpion

curious, have you had any problems with eye relief or eye box issues when shooting quick, or awkward positions. I've been tempted to get the 2.5x power for my Ak105 variant. But want it to still be functional if I'm using a Vtac barricade or etc in competition.

Thanks one and all who have contributed to this thread.

Great choice... If I hadn't stumbled on a deal for a DPP I was going your route.

Late to the party on this, but I think the current best bang for the buck optic is the Sig Romeo 5.
High quality sight I?d put just a step below my Aimpoints.

They can be had for ~$120. I actually like the cr2032 battery version better than the AA battery Romeo 5X or 5XDR if you don?t need the dual retica. Its less than half the price and I have a ton of the cell batteries for other optics.
Using the low mount, it gives a true cowitness, lower 1/3 with high mount.
Best part is 50k hour battery life due to MOTAC technology.

I just installed this optic also and would also recommend it as it just fits so well. I really like the Romeos.

I will add the Romeo 5 as well. Added it 2 weeks ago and love it!

Vortex Venom. I like the open view of the sight and it?s small and low profile. I looked at a Romeo 5, that would be my second choice.

Wow.... I am super cheap... got one of these and it works great!

I imagine it's not great for distance but for me 20 yards is long to me. Guess it depends on what your intentions are for the gun

I had a cheap NCStar optic that I first put on my Scorpion.   I thought it would be ok for short range shooting.   Seriously, I watched the reticle move as I shot it.   Immediately tossed it and I also purchased a Sig Romeo 5 from Cabelas for $120.  Since it was after Christmas I had gift cards to cover the entire cost.    Quickly mounted and bore sighted it and then hit the range I confirmed I had her sighted in when I put 3 consecutive shots in the bullseye.   Waiting now for the next IDPA PCC match to run her through a competition.

I liked the trs 25 for range use but I found the peripheral vision looking through the sight to be very limited when shooting multiple targets. Once in awhile the dot would turn off occasionally (assuming battery engagement issue) while running through a mag. It's now on a 22.

I personally like and use the Eotech 522 on my evo. It doesn't co-witness but I'm not a fan of that either.

An older used Bushnell Halosight can be had for around $50 on classifieds. There the precursor and share most parts with the Eotech. They've always treaded me well and budget friendly. 100 x's better than the knock off eotech's on ebay
