Might Be Worth Noting Dept: I called Ruger Customer Service this morning, waited on hold for ~4 minutes, then tried to buy a firing pin rebound spring & spring support for a ~20 year old gun. The rep is shipping them to me today, no charge.

This is similar to my experience with most companies I have dealt with in general......... until now  :(

CZ-USA (Kansas City) was out of stock of the parts I needed but CZUB (Czech Republic) had them in stock. CZUB will not ship to the United States. I contacted Europe Outdoor and they purchased the parts from CZUB for me and shipped them to me here in OK. Only 10 days shipping time from Lithuania to OK. Cost was less than buying through CZ-USA.

The problem is that, technically, you’re supposed to have a permit from the atf and / or US Customs to import any firearms parts into the US. Europe Outdoors, CZ Parts, et al won’t tell you that, as they’re just more than happy to sell you gun parts over the interwebs and FedEx them to you in the US regardless of whatever feral regs you might be violating. No skin off their nose.

From what I understand, it used to be that if you imported less than a hundred bucks worth of parts at any one time, they’d leave you alone, but now under Xiden’s feral gub’ment, you never know. Could be just another weapon the ferals use to harass legit US gun owners. God knows they don’t do jack squat against actual criminals drop shipping thousands of “Glock Switches” to gang bangers in the US. YOU are the big enemy, according to the ferals.

Hopefully before long some enterprising souls will establish an end around parts pipeline between Europe and the US and cut Colt Management out of the loop. Shouldn’t be that difficult. Then, hopefully, the brain trust at CZ UB will recognize Colt Management for its gross negligence and ineptitude and heads at Colt Management will roll accordingly.

Good I don't have to worry about dealing with Colt. I sold all my cz guns except for the two cz custom. Replaced them all with HK. Made an order with HK last week and the parts were delivered in 2 days.
VP9, VP9 Match, P30L, and a USP Expert 45 is what I have so far. The P30L I installed some parts from Gray Guns. Ill hopefully be getting a USP Elite 9mm.

USP imo is a bit outdated compared to modern offerings but man is it a beefy gun. The Expert comes with a match trigger and adj screw. Nowhere near as good as the CZs I had but I don't ever have to worry about parts or a lack of customer service.

Saturday, June 1st.
Order still showing as staging.
Transaction still showing as pending on my CC account.
Charges from other sources made at the same time on this CC have already posted.
Emailed Jacob again, letting him know the status and not to allow the CC transaction to expire again.
If come Monday, the charge does not go through, not holding out much hope of ever getting these parts from them.
What a way to do business. It's like they don't want our money.  :-X

I hope this works.  If the "problem with payment for your order" described in the original e-mail from Jacob at CZ was that they couldn't fill the order before the cc charge timed out, it would have been better if they had just so stated something like, "Please cancel your original order and then reorder.  Your payment timed out before we could fill it.  We apologize for the inconvenience and we will fill your new order as soon as possible."  That would have saved a lot of grief on both ends.

That said, I may try cancel and reorder myself and see what happens.

Delivering Thursday.
We'll see what is in the box.

I’m officially over 2 months past my order date, still receiving nada.

Like I was saying, owing to the iffy feral legalities of importing parts yourself from the European  interwebs, this is a golden opportunity for someone to do an end around Colt Management’s ineptitude and import CZ parts direct from Europe for sale in the US. We’ve already got a strong demand for aftermarket parts from the likes of CGW and Ben Stoeger etc. Time for them to extend their business to OEM parts as well, in light of the abject failure of Colt / CZ USA.

Meat, or should I call you Mr. Axe?

Your statement is quite true and in this case, I just kept emailing Jacob and he was able to get my order out the door.

Better than waiting forever or being on hold for hours.

So from the sound of it I'm never going to see my Shadow 2 Orange ever after already paying for it at my LGS.

The problem with that is that is that now you’re going to be lumped in with all those insufferable HK fan boi dolts, who have a hysterical conniption fit any time anyone even remotely criticizes HK Almighty. They’re as bad if not worse than Sig fan boi dolts.

Then you’re going to have to send your pistols into Langton TT and spend $$$$ to shoot as well as a CZ75 out of the box and invest in new mags at $50+ a pop.

Believe me, I tried the plastique HK P30sk as an alternative DA/SA EDC to the P-01 & Rami and it just didn’t shoot or feel as good in my hands as the CZ75 compacts @ subcompact out of the box. Terrible DA trigger on the P30sk. The only thing going for it is a longer, more leveraged slide release than the CZ, which somebody in the CZ75 aftermarket game should replicate.

I don't base my purchasing decisions on "stereotypes". Like I said I still have my cz custom guns.. An ao1ld and a 97b.

My P30L with gray gun bits shoots really well. My time and splits with it are on avg the same as when I shot my pcr. My vp9 match is phenomenal... I love it.

Just to be clear.. I dont dislike cz guns but from reading all the complaints on this forum I felt it's better to get rid of them now while people still want them.

Have you noticed the surge of new members coming in to just complain? Then the older members jump in and don't make it any better. If things get better I'll consider buying from CZ again.
