I'm guessing zero from CZ-USA. Dan Brown over at Czechpoint told me that ALL the D-Technik/CSA guns were imported by Czechpoint.

Yes, the two years that CZ-USA sold the SA vz-58, (like mine), they were purchased from CzechpointUSA. My BOX was marked CZ-USA but the rifle is marked D-Technik.

This isn't very helpful, but I may be able to get the number of Dtechnic rifles imported by CZ-USA.  I'll send an email when I log off from here.

CZ USA never imported their vz58s, they pretty much got them from czechpoint.  And if memory serves me right waffenwerks were bringin them in for czechpoint at one time back in the day

Yes, ORF receivers and CNC Warrior receivers should also be taken into account...

Forgot about Ohio Ordinance Works VZ2000s.

Add them to the mix.

Looks like Max #s we have for century are:
-First Gen, unknown
-2nd Gen, VZ08-003xxBR
-3rd Gen, VZ08PM-0092xx

Thanks all much appreciated.  Keep the info coming!

For the US State Dept, the only #s I can find are imports by country of origin and as we all know, CZ USA's hunting rifles and pistols, will completely swamp the # of VZ58s imported.

Mine also.  It was distributed by CZ-USA, which is how I was got mine so quickly.  Looking at the paperwork and markings, it is a D-Technik.

Still no response on my email, FWIW.

Mine was from Classic Firearms
3rd Gen. VZ08PM - 0090xx

They have them in stock right now for $479.99

Wonder if any of the 2nd Gen. VZ08 will show up?
If you keep doing what you've been doing, you'll keep getting what you've been getting.

Both of my D-Technik VZ58's are Waffen Werks import marked.

Data point:

OOW (Ohio Ordnance Works) had a total of 500 receivers manufactured.  They were utilized internally to manufacture their MDL VZ2000 and some were sold for kits.

The remaining OOW pre 1986 Gun Ban parts kits are being sold ($275 includes original Czech chrome lined barrel with the bayo lug). There are only 4-5 remaining Beaver Barf (impregnated polymer) VZ2000 semi-auto rifles packages left for sale at $1025 (comes with the additional folder stock included).  OOW have no plans to manufacture anymore of these high quality rifles. :(

OOW = 500

The post above is opinion, and I am probably totally wrong, so please pardon me if I offend anyone in any way. I am speaking only for myself and just sharing my thoughts, not trying to start an argument with anyone, and if you disagree with anything I have said, I concede your correct.

BTT.  Please keep contributing.

FWIW, here are the #s so far:

OOW: 500

Dtechnic/CZUSA: Unknown

Ohio Rapid Fire: Unknown

CNC Warrior: Unknown, but usually they do receiver runs in relatively small quantities.

Century:
-First Gen, unknown
-2nd Gen, VZ08-003xxBR (~300 highest serial number shared in this thread)
-3rd Gen, VZ08PM-0092xx (~9200 highest serial number shared in this thread)

Custom Builds/Parts Kits: Unknown

I'd fathom a guess that with certainty 20k built and functioning VZ58/variants are currently in the US.  Possibly 30k.  Can't imagine any more than 50k however...  There are ~250 million adult Americans.

Just picked up from FFL an hour ago.

VZ08PM-0057XX

VZ08PM-0076XX

The trigger in the 57XX sounds hollow or springy while the one in the 76XX sounds crisp and tight.  Guns look real nice with one small scratch on one hand guard, but otherwise an outstanding value and investment. Will need to get to the range to test the triggers.

My first gen. VZ 2008 is number VZ0011XX.  I think Century told me it was shipped to the dealer / distributor in February 2011, but I'm not 100% sure.

Just to add to your list, Centerfire just sent me an email with VZ2008 for sale at 499$. Like Classicfirearms (who lowered their price that for a little time had been raised to 517 I think), 499$ is still a pretty good deal. Still couldn't beat the 399$ though.
CZ SP01 Tactical, CZ SP01 Phantom, CZ P07, CZP01, CZCadet kit, CZ Scorpion EVO S1.
