Wonderful Pics of some very very nice guns.  8)  Love those Revolvers!

Have you considered the new Walther CCP M2?  It has a light DAO Trigger.
I'm considering getting one.

JWC007, thank you! No, I haven’t. Pretty well set on what I’ve currently got and have a few other things on layaway still to acquire. LOL

Speaking of DAO, friend of mine who’s a bigger Beretta fan than I am is converting my PX4 Compact to DAO for me with what should end up around a 7 lb. or so trigger pull, right in line with my DAO P-07 Duty, P-09 MHS, and PX4 D Full-size. Hehehehehe [emoji48]

But back to what I currently have, here’s the trigger pull on the new Night Cobra, seems to be around 8 or 9 pounds, and very smooth!

2 that might be of interest: CZ P01 vs Beretta PX4 Compact carry. They're basically the same size and weight.

Unloaded weight:  CZ P01: 28.1 ounces Beretta PX4 CC: 27.4 ounces

Width: CZ P01: 1.38 inches  Beretta PX4 CC: 1.4 inches.

Length: CZ P01: 7.2 inches Beretta PX4 CC: 6.8 inches

Height: CZ P01: 5 inches  Beretta PX4 CC: 5 inches.

Please note in the photos I have 92 style decocker levers on the PX4 CC. When used for carry I have the flat "stealth" levers installed. The 92 style levers are easier to decock when running a bunch of 1st shot DA then 2 SA drills.

The trigger on the Beretta is better, I've installed the LTT 11 pound hammer spring, it already had the Competition Trigger Group installed at the factory. The CZ is still stock at this time. I will be installing a CGW Defensive carry package in the near future.

Accuracy is ammo dependent. Best defense load for the CZ P01 is 124gr +P Gold Dots followed closely by 124gr +p Golden Sabers.  Best defense loads in the Beretta PX4 CC 147gr HST followed by 147gr Gold Dots.  Both group about the same with my 115gr and 147gr FMJ reloads.

My wife shoots the P01 slightly better, I shoot the CC slightly better. Enough to trade or sell off one or the other? Nope.

The Beretta hold 1 more round, I don't consider that a big deal at all.

Accuracy is ammo simply dependent.

My CZ P-01 measures 1.18" wide at the thin aluminum grips. What does the PX4CC grip measure?

With the Talon grips in place the PX4 CC is 1.22 inches wide without 1.20 inches.

Thanks to the recent input, y’all rock! Here’s a quick couple of new pics I just snapped earlier.

Finally getting around to posting pics of my P-07 and Beretta PX4 Compact, which even though now is DAO (w/LTT 11# mainspring), has the Stealth decock levers installed for maintaining as slim a profile as possible.

This image shows them first with their respective flush 15-rd mags. The middle pic shows the P-07 with a P-09 19-rd mag, and the Beretta with a +3 extension. The bottom pic has the CZ sporting a P-09 mag with +2 extension, and the Beretta a +3 extension on a full-size model’s 17-rd mag.

Thanks again for doing this.

So, it looks like the PX4 grip is both a little shorter and a little fatter than the P-07. is that right?

You’re very welcome. Just a little, but still plenty of room for a full, three-finger grip and very hand filling. Here’s some quick measurements I just took.

Beretta PX4 Compact (Small Backstrap):
Grip width (front to back): 2 3/16”.
Grip forestrap length (to bottom of mag baseplate): 2 3/8”.
Grip circumference at trigger guard undercut: 5 7/16”.
Grip circumference at bottom of grip: 5 7/8”.

CZ P-07 Duty:
Grip Width: 2 3/16“ (Same).
Grip forestrap length: 2 1/4”.
Grip circumference at trigger guard undercut: 5 1/2”.
Grip circumference at bottom of grip: 6 3/16”.

Glock 19 (Gen 4):
Grip Width: 2”.
Grip forestrap length: 2 1/2”.
Grip circumference at trigger guard undercut: 5 11/16”.
Grip circumference at bottom of grip: 6”.

what is essential is invisible to the eye. I mean the trigger pull. P07 has a better trigger than P4 storm.

I love CZ’s but in stock, out of the box form I’ll have to kindly disagree when comparing the Omega trigger to the PX4 (and 92/96).

Now, with how mine are setup in DAO configurations, my P-07 Duty and P-09 MHS have very sweet, smooth 6.5# and 7# pulls respectively, versus about 7.5# for my PX4 Compact and around 9# for my full size, then 8.5# on my CZ 100 (stock except for addition of night sights and grip stippling).

I must agree with Cyanide. Right out of the box Beretta has the better trigger from what I have experienced. Now after some work they are both excellent, but different.

Thanks for sharing all of these photos. I have been interested in the PX4 for a while, but just never go for it when I find one. Especially since I love the P07 and P09 so much. Just curious, but can you provide the trigger reach measurement on both the P07 and PX4 CC in DA decocked? From what I seem to remember the last Px4 I held it seemed to have a longer trigger reach than the P07.

Claymore, unless someone beats me to the punch, I’ll measure those once I get back home in another couple of weeks. Just left out last night and haven’t been able to IM or reply here due to “system and network issues”.

I appreciate it, sir. No rush. Be safe out there.
