A firearm coating based on a Stuka...now that's a wild connection. Wonder if any are left flying?
That looks great, lots of snow up by you?
Not too much snow outside Phoenix. It should be 112 or so today. I just wanted something different and I think we achieved different.

How about a pisto-bine :o?

I'll chop and thread the bbl as soon as the feds give me their blessing.

-Scorpion Carbine w/ pistol length handguard. I may switch to the Manticore handguard if it looks decent when it gets released. I had to fabricate a custom deep socket to get to the bbl nut.
-HB Paddle Mag Release. Couldn't be happier with this.
-Welded trigger pack drilled and HB springs installed. Used my dremel and a carbide deburing  bit, took 5 minutes.
-All trigger pack components debured and polished.
-HB Black Theta Charging Handle.
-Fire selector detents reshaped and polished to ease fire/safe required effort. I have a set of HB AR type selectors but I really like the factory Scorpion's selectors. After performing the work on the detents, they perform quite nicely. This made a world of difference.
-Magpul Enhanced rail covers
-Hi-Lux MM-2 reflex red dot optic w/ American Defense T1 Micro CAS-V QD mount. Did not want a co-witness setup but still wanted to keep optic low to the bbl. If optic fails, will strip off via QD mount and use iron sights.
-YHM Wraith XL waiting for its stamp.

Phone camera sucks, sorry for the poor quality of the pic.

Interesting..I've been contemplating on putting a pistol length handguard on my carbine w/ a faux suppressor.

Would you happen to have a pic of it with the pistol length handguard and faux suppressor?

No, sorry. Mine was not the faux suppressor model.

Yes, but pretty much the same overall length as an SBR with a can stuck on the end. I'll probably cut my barrel to 5-1/5" when I get the SBR stamp.

Yeah it's not half bad. I feel that it's the closest configuration to the SBR until my stamp arrives. SBR'ing the carbine is a lot easier for me than having to locate the stock and associated 922r parts. Plus, I have a usable gun while I'm waiting for the stamp.
