Second that bump.

I'm currently getting 1-2 stovepipes/casing lodged behind the new cartridge per 10rd mag. Very interested in seeing these pics.

Interesting that in 2001 the original poster found changing the face of the ejector surface solved this problem.  Would have thought the manufacturer would have implemented a fix by now...

Yea you would think so.

It seems like a relatively easy fix. Just have a hard time understanding via text. I'm sure someone has the OPs Pics or can describe it a little better?

This forum seems pretty inactive. Guess nobody can help us new cz owners out?

I'm 80% sure I understand what's being mentioned but if someone can just emphasize part of the ejector that should be filed I'd appreciate it.

 Hope this diagram makes sense:

       [     .]===ejector===[[            barrel             ]]

This would be a top-down view with the bullet leaving the right side of the barrel. Am I filing the "." point I placed on the ejector?

Best bet may be to start a new post and in the subject line state something like " What part of the ejector should be filed for better Kadet operation".  I would think starting a new post would get better response.  This was buried in this post and I just happened to see it.

Lfl:
Given that the forward facing edge of the Ejector is at 90o, it would be that the Top Corner needs a Break of 10 - 15o
It doesn't hurt to break it a bit to the rear either
Basically, knock the Corner off back and to the right by 10 - 15o

Any recent pictures available?  Went o the range last night for the first time and I was having 1-3 stove pipes every magazine for well over 30 mags.

Just to make sure I took a pic of the part I think Needs a 10 degree slope to maximize ejection.   Can someone confirm this?

Yes, but you can't see the corner in this picture
Using your picture; the corner in question is lower right, but on the backside of what's seen in the picture

Another item to consider in the FTF (Failure to Eject) / Stovepipe issue is the Extractor and / or its Spring
If your Extractor isn't holding the Case Rim tight enough, the Ejector can't kick the Case around and out of the Ejection Port
22s being the dirtiest Round out there, it's easy for crud to build-up behind the Extractor and hold it out a bit
OR, the Extractor Spring can just get week over time
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what's coming after HIM !

CZ USA suggested that the spring be changed as well as the extractor itself!

Just wanted to say thank you for solving the stove pipe problem with my 1999 CZ 75 Kadett. Filed the ejector as advised, put a box of Federal Bulk pk through it this morning. Not 1 stove pipe in 500 rds.
