That makes sense now.
So we basically witnessed first two batches being sold (we came up little short of 30) and we are going to see the last batch coming up shortly. This will be good chance for people that didn't get them within first two batches, to get them now.
Presently GunBroker.com doesn't have them and if you search via Gun.deals you can't find any.
Kentucky Gun CO has the 99041 for sale as does Riflegear. Just a heads up. I picked up one.

KGC aren't showing them on their site as of now. I have one of the 1449 99021's
The barrel is finished differently. One is a bit more raw silver. One is black.

I ran across a 99041 at my local gun shop for $579 plus tax. This is my first CZ. I also have a cz 75D compact in order from grab a gun. What?s so special about this 99041? Did I just blow $600 or do I really have something special?

The 99041 is basically the same as the 99021. Here's the master thread for the 99021 so you can get an idea of why these pistols (99021 and 99041) are unique.

Do you have something special? Yes to a certain degree. It's an oddball gun that really serves no purpose (all the other CZ guns serve purposes better than this one) but is simply cool to own and shoot. The SP-01 and CZ75 full size are better range guns and competition guns. The P01 is a better carry gun because of weight.

Supposedly only 50 were produced but I am in serious doubt that is true. Every day I go on gunbroker and see more.  I think in this thread alone we've accounted for probably 20-25 of the supposed 50.

This was the same with the prior model 99021 which supposedly only came in a batch of 1500 but I suspect there were more as well.

I don?t understand the negativity on a sweet rare all steel CZ Compact with rail. This thing is a tank. It will be revered in due time. A used 99021 sold today for $765 plus shipping and transfer fees. So whether you think there?s a conspiracy by CZ to withhold the true amount of these being imported or not, the writing is on the wall. There?s little supply and high demand. I?m sorry to hear it?s not for you but I?m glad CZ is offering some cool variants to the US market
Edit: reserve wasn?t met

I'm not claiming they are bad guns. They just have no practical purpose that other Cz's don't already satisfy. They are cool in their own right.

There's no hatred here. I'm being objective.

As far as a conspiracy is concerned, believe what you want. I continue to see 99041 for sale NIB.

It may not fit your carry, but how can you say this beauty will serve no purpose?  That?s an objective opinion about a subjective aspect of the gun. I can say for me it will serve the purpose of putting a smile on my face for a long time. I believe it?s called sport shooting, and I consider it to be a practical purpose. Someone may think it?s awesome for carry, and that?s ok too. Saying the CZ 75 and SP01 are better range guns and ?all the other CZ guns serve purposes better than this one? seems a little harsh on the Unicorn

I didn't say they served no purpose. Just not as well as other CZ models.

All of my guns make me happy. It doesn't mean they all serve a purpose. Many do not.

Carry - the P01 is a better fit due to weight
IPSC - nope
IDPA - the SP01 is better
I could go on.

I appreciate these for what they are: interesting CZ's
