The Desantis Speed Scabbard for the SIG P239 fits mine like it was made for it.

Just bought a nylon, ambi duty holster from Blackhawk. Size 6, meant for 3.5 to 3.75" large caliber handguns. Fits the P-01 nicely and was only $30

I found the Tagua OWB designed for the G 19 fits perfectly.  I like the flat inner face too.  Had a few leather holsters, this is every bit as good at half the price.

Dan Hume CZ40 holsters perfectly fit the CZ P-02 I have. I also use my GLOCK 17 holster and it fits and retains the pistol, albeit it was a little snug when I first started using it.

Old Faithful Holsters sells a hybrid IWB holster specifically for the P-01.

I ordered one on 3/9 and received it yesterday (20 days later).  I've worn it less than 24 hours, but so far, it is comfortable and should break in even better.  I'm pretty sure some of the other hybrid holster makers do the P-01 as well, such as Crossbreed Holsters and Theis Holsters.

IWB Crossbreed - horse.  very comfortable and stable with a good belt.  3:00 right hip.  Sits low and easy in/out.

Side Guard IWB Double snap - reinforced 15? cant.  very nice product.  Not as comfortable initially.  In/out still needs to loosen up for me.  HOWEVER, if concealment is of primary concern, this holster does a much better job than the CB.

White Hat Holsters has OWB and IWB  hybrids for P-01.   $50-$82 range, plus they have 10 rail laser/light options for $5.00 extra... shipping is about $7.00..

Just picked up this IWB holster for my P01:

It's made for CZ Compacts. Very rugged leather. Good retention. Cant beat it for $27. After seeing it 1st hand I'm ordering another for my PCR.

Made by a company called Outbags. Found it on amazon:

That looks pretty well made for $27!!!
Thanks, I'll check them out!

I'm happy with it. I just ordered a black one for my PCR.

The only very minor issue I've found is that the PO1 rear sight sometimes catches slightly when holstering. PCR sights don't have this problem since they have a taper on the front.

I am having excellent luck with the Galco Cop 3 Slot w/thumb break.  Have been using it for over a year - I think I finally found "the one" that works best for me for OWB carry of the P-01.  It is Model CTS250B, originally for the SIG P228/229 and Taurus 24/7.  Break-in was a bit extended but now draws smooth - I kept the pistol in a dress sock inside of a ziplock for a week to begin the process... I hope this is of help.

Available from multiple vendors - for example see   <http://www.opticsplanet.com/galco-cop-3-slot-holsters.html>

Cheers!

CZ-USA now has a holster database:

I'm still happy with the Galco I mentioned earlier for concealed carry.

holsters recommendations for the CZ 75 Compact SDP
« Reply #71 on: September 08, 2015, 01:26:18 PM »
hI FOLKS,
Yes, i realise the PO1 is the same basic gun and the Compact SDP version should fit.
with that said has anyone with a SDP, noticed a particular holster that would suit a big guy for OWB
carry ?

I'm like 5/8" 250 and i need to have a thumb break  type holster because of state law for concealed carry.
I'm all about the comfort, and also i'd like the holster to not ruin the finish of my gun . i rather spend for a durable quality holster for obvious reasons; but function rules regardless of price imho.

i need the same type for my 2nd gen. PO7 too.

what do you big guys prefer for holster placement  3, 4, 5 o'clock or something else. Please tell me why too. btw I'm right handed

anything that I'm missing on the issue feel free to school the newb, and that goes forever. thx. in advance folks.

can you explain the dress sock inside of the ziplock, i haven't the faintest clue. :( thx.

Sure!  Some holster makers recommend that break-in for a new holster that is tight can be accelerated a bit by placing the UNLOADED pistol in a ziplock, and then leaving it inserted in the holster for a period of a few days.  The Galco I recommended started out very tight and hard to draw, so I first placed the pistol in the thin dress sock, and then placed the ziplock over that. The idea is to provide a bit of controlled stretching of the holster so that it would draw consistently and not be too tight.

I hope this helps clarify, please let me know if further explanation or pictures would be helpful.

Cheers

Forgive me if this was mentioned earlier in the thread, but has anyone tried Eric Larsen, owner of H.B.E. Specialty LeatherWorks.  He specializes in concealed carry and CZ holsters.  All custom.  Just got one for my SP-01.  The craftsmanship is superb.  Give him a call at 1 (801) 916-9248.
