Ron M, awesome pics!

Decided to snap a few more of some that I already have or, added to the collection recently. I will apologize in advance that they aren’t combined, as the app I was using for photo collages wanted to charge an outrageous amount for its use, when it used to be free.

I’ll start off with my trusty old DAO P-07 Duty and new M&P9 2.0 Compact 3.6”. Yep, I forgot to take the red sticker off of the new TLR-7A I just added onto my P-07 LOL. I need to quit being lazy and add an orange outline Night Fision front sight to it, since I have orange outline Ameriglo fronts on everything else in the carry rotation!

Next up is the aforementioned M&P and my Shadow Systems MR920:

M&P and Gen 5 G26 with 12-rd mag, then with G19 mag and extension sleeve:

Just saying, it sure would be nice if Glock would make a “26X” so that I could mount one of my TLR-7A’s onto it, as the Gen 5 G26 quickly became one of my favorite CC’s over the last couple of years (even over the P-10 C, P-10 S, P365, and G43X I all briefly owned over the course of the last year).

More later on, will eventually be adding several others in the future. Cheers!

Was it CZ Custom that did the DAO conversion for you on that P-07?  I remember reading posts about them doing that some years ago.

Yessir, sure was! They also did the slide milling and addition of night sights on my CZ 100. If I could somehow modify the rail on that one so as to have even a single rail slot… [emoji848]

Rekindled an old flame with my love, the newest rendition of the first striker fire pistol that really took my attention away from hammer-fire pistols, and I had to get some pics of it against my old #2 carry piece (now #3), as they fit the same category of a compact slide and barrel on a full-size grip. In this case, 17+1.....

Glock 45 and Steyr M9-A2 MF

Undecided on whether I'm going to replace the Trap Sights with basic Trijicon night sights or Tru Glo TFX Pros.

Very Interesting and Congratulations on the acquisition of a Steyr M9-A2!  8)  :)
May it serve you well!  :)

I have an older version of the longer Steyr L9-A1 and it's been a very very good handgun!  :)
I have looked around for an M9 version, which would be for Carry, but they tend to be scarce around here.

Yep, I remember you having that back when I had my C9-A1 and S9-A1! Got my hands on the L9-A2 MF a few days ago, would definitely be my choice for a full-size.

True the aftermarket is difficult for the A2 MF's, but not impossible!. Truth be told, it's not like they need much of anything other than a good holster!

2 that might be of interest: CZ P01 vs Beretta PX4 Compact carry. They're basically the same size and weight.

Unloaded weight:  CZ P01: 28.1 ounces Beretta PX4 CC: 27.4 ounces

Width: CZ P01: 1.38 inches  Beretta PX4 CC: 1.4 inches.

Length: CZ P01: 7.2 inches Beretta PX4 CC: 6.8 inches

Height: CZ P01: 5 inches  Beretta PX4 CC: 5 inches.

Please note in the photos I have 92 style decocker levers on the PX4 CC. When used for carry I have the flat "stealth" levers installed. The 92 style levers are easier to decock when running a bunch of 1st shot DA then 2 SA drills.

The trigger on the Beretta is better, I've installed the LTT 11 pound hammer spring, it already had the Competition Trigger Group installed at the factory. The CZ is still stock at this time. I will be installing a CGW Defensive carry package in the near future.

Accuracy is ammo dependent. Best defense load for the CZ P01 is 124gr +P Gold Dots followed closely by 124gr +p Golden Sabers.  Best defense loads in the Beretta PX4 CC 147gr HST followed by 147gr Gold Dots.  Both group about the same with my 115gr and 147gr FMJ reloads.

My wife shoots the P01 slightly better, I shoot the CC slightly better. Enough to trade or sell off one or the other? Nope.

The Beretta hold 1 more round, I don't consider that a big deal at all.

Nice write up.  Just purchased a PX4 compact (9mm) to pair with my PCR.  My original plan was to buy a P-01 or maybe P-07.  However, I wanted something with a little different and with a decent trigger out the box.  I ordered new sights and a hammer spring from Beretta, and a set of Talon grips.   This should give me a decent setup at reasonable cost.  PCR is still stock, and I expect things will smooth out around 300 rds, but we will see.

I recently came to the realization that my PT111 G2 weighs as much as a my Glock 19 Gen 2.  Appreciate that the Taurus has a safety and a smaller profile, just don't know that the juice is worth the squeeze except as a cheap beater gun or stash gun versus other options...

Lots of good pictures. One might try HandGunHero.com and you can compare almost all guns. I'm on there at least 2 time a week.
