Thought I'd post up a couple pics of my fun gun.  Got a suppressor being held hostage right now and will likely put in a Black Collar Arm Trigger when they get them back in stock.

Sweet set up

Who says the Osprey doesn't fit? Micro K barrel. Top underside of hand guard needed a little metal removed, not much though.

Pretty much my final setup.... for now. :) What a difference the Yeti Wurx Everest grip makes. Love it.

I know this is really old, but , does anyone know what mount that is holding the light?

I'm trying to decide between a bottom mount or 45* mount. I have a hybrid on the end of my scorpion so, shadows come into play. I'm pretty sure 6 o'clock is going to be the best , but i want to try a 45. Both at different distances to get a true feel for the shadow effect.

It?s a Haley Thorntail. That?s my Scorpion so if you have any other questions feel free to ask. I?ve been running that setup for some time. Some things I changed over time, but the light has stayed there because it?s the best spot for me.

Here?s a pic from last week. As you can see I have kept it the same. The light in that position makes activating with my thumb easy and doesn?t create shadows.

Magpul grip, HBI springs and shoe, weapon light will be here tomorrow. Replaced the safeties and charging handle. Will probably be looking into the Haley Thorntail; wish I had known about that 48 hours ago.  :D

So many awesome Scorpions in this thread. I was up until 7 am and this thread kept me busy for at least an hour of that overnight 'binge'. I've had my guns on the back burner for a while now, playing with other hobbies. But... now it's time to get busy with this Scorpion. A recent range trip was excellent motivation!

It currently has
PA red dot
SB Tactical. I wish it allowed firing in the closed position. I was thinking about some fine Dremel work around the ejector port. Anyone tried this?

 I just ordered -
ASR flash hider for my Hybrid. The S3 live it's down time with the Hybrid attached.
Apex Grip
TLR 1 light w/remote pad for bottom mount (also going to pickup a Thorntail/Surefire for testing)
Rear padded/elastic sling with quick disconnect.

Next will be a complete re-work of the trigger.

Here is a picture - if this thread is more 'pics only' please let me know and I'll modify my post.

Try shooting it first with the stock folded and see what happens. I thought I was going to have the same issue with my UMP with ACR stock, and it didn?t.

What exact light and Thorntale is that? I didn't notice the logo on that mount last night, but see it now. There are several options and I want one that will allow me to use a Streamlight protac 1, but I'd want to ditch the bulky mount it comes with and still be able to use the Thorndale.

Light is the Surefire Scout mini M300. The Thorntail is the long version for the M300 Scout. There?s a shorter SBR version. I have no experience with Streamlight so I have no idea what mount is compatible with it.

Thanks. This helps a ton.

The Surefire Scout uses the same exact style mounting system so I should end up with something just like what you have on yours, but using a streamlight pro-tac rail mount. It's about half the price.

Did your Thorndale mount come with one or two rings, or was it a flat mount? I'm trying to sift through them all on Amazon and can't get a picture in my head of which one will work best.

No rings. It?s the same mount, but the ring version you are paying extra for the rings. The rings mount to the scout mount. Get the version without the rings.

I was just thinking I had it figured out and you confirmed it!  Thank you!

For others - this mount - https://www.amazon.com/Impact-Weapons-Components-Thorntail-Adaptive/dp/B00HRFDO68/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=haley+thorntail&qid=1556495544&s=gateway&sr=8-2 will will work with Streamlight Protac 1, 2, and HL rail mount setups.

Another question for you Sigma - what do all those controls do on your remote pad?
